Oh my goodness Texas just hired Sark (not sarcasm)

Shout out to whatever executive search firm the Texas AD paid 500k to come back to them and be like ummmmm how about Sark?
I just don’t get it, Alabama makes Sark look like a good OC, not the other way around, most average college offensive coordinators in the country would ball out with that type of talent advantage. -

More ball gargling from Kim
Not sure you have a grap on how good of a recruitier he is. Relentless and ruthless. He'll win the press conference, the team, and current recruits.
He's good.
He did a pretty good job at UW. He took over an 0-12 program which was bad. Really bad. He changed the culture quickly and had the kids beleiviong in temselves. He hired Nick Holt as his DC, which didn't work at all. He let him go and hired Justin Wilcox, which was a home run. Won seven games his last two years, but recruited very, very well. was set up with a great roster once he purged all Tyrone's guys and improved the talent.
I think you'll be very pleased.......until he loses a game. Fans are fans.
The Washington team that made CFP was mostl;y led by guys Sark brought in.
Didn't mean to upset anybody, just thought I'd add my two cents on the hire since I dealt with him quite a bit at UW.
Most Washingto. fand are happy for him because they understand the situation. Texas gained a lot of fans from the fine state of Washington today.
Good luck

John Donovan could run full back dives every play and win 10 games at Alabama
-
Has there ever been a a coach who dines out on the backs of elite coaches like this guy? This excites exactly no one. Except maybe Austin area liquor stores.
-
I hope for Sark’s sake that he’s solved all his demons because going to Texas/Austin will be a pressure cooker the likes he’s never seen before
-
Need a laugh go look at their Basketball Board. There are exactly two guys who don't (or won't say) think Hopkins should be gone and everyone knows who they are.DerekJohnson said:
Anyone going against that sentiment will be banned and eventually end up over herebananasnblondes said:Dawgman's reaction to this is quite different than here.
Lots of "so happy for this former Husky great who turned our program around. Texas just became my 2nd favorite team" sentiment
Let's also not forget that he valiantly fought through and survived a life threatening disease he acquired through no fault of his own.
In fact they have taken to telling guys who have posted books of data to support the need to make the change to kill it as they've made their point (aka we have no defense to refute the obvious but to say stop saying it)

By “demons” do you mean coaching practices and a game while drunk off his ass?Tequilla said:I hope for Sark’s sake that he’s solved all his demons because going to Texas/Austin will be a pressure cooker the likes he’s never seen before
Call it what it is.
Do I need to bump all your fucktarded takes from Sark’s lawsuit against USC? -
He will also be watched a lot more and not allowed to run around banging coeds and dropping a couple grand in a bar on the university credit card without going relatively unnoticed like he could at UW or in LA.Tequilla said:I hope for Sark’s sake that he’s solved all his demons because going to Texas/Austin will be a pressure cooker the likes he’s never seen before
If I'm a UT fan Im a lot more worried about his shitty coaching/organizational ability than I am about his coke and alcohol habits from a few years ago.
Then again, the wife finally found out about it all in 2016 and left him so maybe Sark goes full Joey Freshwater and we are all entertained again. -
Hopefully he brings in long time buddy Nick Holt
-
That’s right out of the Sark 2012/2013 playbookgodawgst said:

Sark will win 8-9 games a year at Texas but constantly have mind boggling losses and annual struggles against Oklahoma.
-
Go ahead and pull all of them ... don’t think I said much about it other than it’s a really delicate legal proceedingFremontTroll said:

Clearly Sark had an alcohol problem and allegedly infidelity and payoff challenges from that infidelity
Sark’s clearly a talented guy who has a lot of personal challenges that have got in the way
I’m well past the point of finding joy in Sark’s failings -

Future Texas fan post -
Sark isn't beating Oklahoma lol
-
The only thing that can ever fix Texas is more winning. The politicians, million-dollar boosters and regents who take everything they read on message boards as gospel aren’t going away.
im not sure sark is ready for that type of environment. kiffin sure as shit isnt/wasnt and he had to do time/show he could run a program at a non-p5 before getting back to the p5.
sark just got his drivers licenses and handed the keys to a ferrari, again.
i fucking hated those types of kids. -
We'll see if Sark colludes with the AD to start lining up OOC cupcakes again
-
they open against a TUFF louisiana ragin cajun team.DerekJohnson said:We'll see if Sark colludes with the AD to start lining up OOC cupcakes again
then take on AN SEC TEAM in arky who just finished 3-7.
and then face an ANGRE rice owls team.
i think the cupcakes are about ready to come out of the oven. -
Somebody needs to tell Kim it’s tim to come up for air. The ball gargling is embarrassing
-
Kim's finally found an audience that hasn't heard his schtick yet and will actually think he's credible ... at least for the first 5 times he repeats himself and pretends to be a true college football "insider".
After that, they'll just save his posts and then mock him ... the same way we all do. -
At least Mack brown had the decency to ride a generational qb to a natty unlike most of the morons that are coachingBleachedAnusDawg said:If he's truly sober and didn't fall off the wagon he will be the best coach they've had since Mack Brown. I don't think that's saying much, though.

He's still trying to ride Sark's jock to significance after all these years. It's kind of amazing when you think about.DHD said:Kim's finally found an audience that hasn't heard his schtick yet and will actually think he's credible ... at least for the first 5 times he repeats himself and pretends to be a true college football "insider".

I can’t even remotely fathom how blindingly angry I would be right now if I were a UT fan. Absolute Error 404. Water dumped onto CPU. Cannot compute.doogville said:Lmao. At least kiffen spent a couple of years at FAU on his redemption tour.
Sark washed out in the NFL and then called complex plays like “pass it to davonta smith” for the most talented roster in the country.
Being a Washington fan is miserable, but at least we aren’t UT fans. To have every institutional advantage, but be absolute dreck year after year. No wonder their fans are crazy.
This is beyond hilarious. -
Texas boreds don’t seem to understand how lucky they should feel to be 7-6 and bowl eligible.
-
Imagine if sark has truly turned the corner and becomes a perennial 12-1 team ...
