Right before the Civil War(Can we call it that?) starts. The ONE saving grace is that US citizens are so heavily armed that there will never be confiscation of assets without major, major bloodshed.
So right now, most cops are conservative folks. When I worked in a PD and the topic of gun confiscation came up, most guys said they wouldn’t do it or simply go knock and leave.
As cops get replaced with social workers, things might change.
