    I have worked in the past with the SPLC. The individuals that I met with over the years were liberal insulated zealots. They no more knew the facts or had any idea what anyone other than a far, far , far left rat thought or stood for. They were completely idealism driven. There was no room for any ideas that took them off of their extreme left course. It was the same with the Ford Foundation and their individuals.

    These types of organizations are really damaging to the country. If they were the same type of zealots that were operating on the far right I would be equally concerned but both organizations are the poster children for plowing over our rights to achieve their agenda.

    I looked at their list of hate groups a few years ago. Some were definite wing nuts and extremists. Some were right of center Christian orgs that didn't agree with gay rights in some way, shape, or form. To just smear them and ruin their rep seemed ridiculous. Chick Fil Gay can absorb it, but some church can't.

    They have falsely accused many of being a "hate group". The groups they rail against are small to insignificant. When they publish their lists it makes them the hate group. No better than the KKK, the group of seven or the Black Panthers. They are what they hate because they are only one sided ideologically driven.

    Toss in the fact that the SPLC is a grifting organization on par with the Clinton Foundation or Planned Parenthood or the Harvard Foundation.

    The SPLC did some good work back in the 80's when there were a few handfuls of actual white supremacists in the country, unlike today when there's about 10 total in the entire nation and 7 of the 10 are in prison. Today they just libel people, get sued, and pay judgments with their donors money. I'll give them one more year of grifting before they shut down for good.
