It still hurts

I kicked a hole in my bedroom wall and then took a three hour walk on the back 40 to gain perspective and avoid having my ass beat by my dad. After he calmed down and I had the sack to go back inside I learned how to patch a wall. CSB

Better idea for a hat: "Catch the Damn Ball"DoogCourics said:dnc said:
So I was thinking about this randomly this afternoon.
I’m not predicting this is going to happen, so don’t twist, but think I would die if the Huskies come out and throw it 40 times and Lake wears a hat in his next presser that says Throw The Damn Ball.
Just to fuck with everyone. Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled shit poasting. -
Thanks. Where did all of our TEs go? I thought we were stacked and loaded but it's just Otten and some walkons and/or FR? Why?

I’m pretty sure his peak was after. I faintly remember him going off on UW in maybe 93 or 94.AEB said: -
Nope. Stokes was years after.AEB said: -
That was an aboriginal moment for the fan base... humility in the face of greatness. It was fucked up because we were ranked #1 for like 6 weeks in a row and EVERYONE knew that we were the best team in the country. It was like that, bitches. It definitely fueled the following year where the talent disparity was not as great but we finally were number 1, no questions asked.
-
Stokes was against a Damon Huard lead UW team. UCLA didn't have nearly that much offense in the 1990 game. We had no answer for Stokes.AEB said: -
We were literally never #1 in 1990. Highest we got in either pole was #2 in both the week of the UCLA game. Was so incredibly painful because #1 ND also lost that week.DawgsCanDance said:That was an aboriginal moment for the fan base... humility in the face of greatness. Most depressing and disillusioning UW loss ever.Gladstone said: -
IDK... How many TE scholarships you want to have?; the TE1 (Bryant) left early when he shouldn't have, the TE3 (Kizer) took a medevac out, and the TE4 (Culp) apparently sucks when he was supposed to be good, TE5 and TE6 are highly recruited true freshman, and then there is Westover and Mason West.BaldwinIV said:Thanks. And thats why only Otton is tanned, ready, and rested.
I dont see it as more than a freak thing and Otton is still a really great TE. meh...

Lake mentioned today that True Freshman Cooper McDonald in fall camp played both ILB and OLB and played with a lot of confidence. He said he kept making sacks or TFLs and just acted like he expected to perform like that. Expects to play him a lot this season.

Thank you. I remembered us? being #2 and would’ve been #1 had we? won.dnc said:

As many already said, JJ Strokes was later. This was the Tommy Maddox UCLA team. I can still painfully remember their RB going up the gut for an 88ish yard TD and Brunell not being able to complete a pass late in the game. -
Now that it’s confirmed that Jimmy is a huge troll, what do we think the odds are that he’s playing McDonald a bunch this season as a result of the TBS/TSIO/UW Twitter brigade shitting on this signing all last year?DoogCourics said:Lake mentioned today that True Freshman Cooper McDonald in fall camp played both ILB and OLB and played with a lot of confidence. I wouldn't have guessed he threw that many downfield.NorwegianHusky said:DoogCourics said:dnc said:

The ones I do remember other than the third down conversion to Ty Jones were definitely uncatchable. -
Same. I only remember the "what the hell was that!?" deep ball and the sideline pass to Nacua that sailed five yards over his head and the wefs bailed him out.dnc said:

There was a 12-15 yarder to a receiver at the sidelines towards the end of the 1Q that he threw at his feet.1to392831weretaken said:

I didn't watch again, but on that one--assuming we're thinking of the same pass--I thought his arm may have been bumped by the rush and messed with the release. Could be wrong.dnc said:

I don't think any of Morris throws were uncathable. Every single one was put in a perfect place for his recievers to make a highlight reel catch.

yes, I stand corrected, after looking back in history, it was the 1992 season that I was thinking of Where we were 8 and O and repeatedly ranked number 1... my bad, wrong year...dnc said:
