Agreed @RoadDawg55 I don't have issue with the occasional tweet here and there, but it's where it gets way too personal and this idea that we as fans following these kids on Twitter help determine the outcome of recruiting battles that creeps me out. Maybe it helps a little, but I'm still a skeptic. What I would hope matters above all us in recruiting is having a winning program and culture + good salesmanship by the coaching staff.
I mean of course the recruits like getting some Twitter love, but the TBS guys think they are way more important than they actually are. It’s just gotten strange and should be dialed back a little bit. They lost their creepy charm awhile ago. There isn’t any charm to it anymore.

I’ve enjoyed a lot of DDY posts dating back to dawgman. Just wish he would chill a little bit and not be so agenda driven and biased towards players that he likes/dislikes as recruits.
In general, he creates good content, is a very good fan, and whether he is unhinges or not, creates a lot of stuff to post about on message boards. He does think way too highly of his insights and opinions and is wrong quite often yet is very quick to mention when he is right.
The race shit and Coker calling it groundbreaking research threw me off too and was ridiculous. Still wish those guys would come back and ditch the bdtw experiment. I would prefer to SAY THIS TO THEIR FACE!

Exactly. I don’t have Twitter, and I never have. But I never miss a game (on tv), I travel to Seattle every year to cheer on my Dwags in person at least once, I’m up in my seat and I make noise and that’s while being in Club Husky where they generally hate me for ruining their experience. I buy gear, I drive to Seattle to get fucking purple Addidas from a highly suspect individual (still thankful I didn’t blow up), I consume all media that is Husky related, and I poast on a Husky website every day of the year.

Know the guys who are coming in and coming up. It always baffles me when people are like, “who’s #58?” (or any other number), because I’m just like, that’s Zion Tupuola-Fetui, duh.
But I don’t get attached to PSAs and I’d never get a burner account just to tweet at kids or DM them. I know there are so many factors that go into a kid choosing a school, and I’m not obtuse enough to believe I’m the missing link. I also know that it’s not always about the coaches didn’t push hard enough, or they dropped the ball, or they couldn’t evaluate.
Sometimes the kid just likes another school more, or like flash and sparkle and bi’s and tri’s over substance and homework and compound lifts.
Take a walk, get drunk, have sex, just do whatever you need and move on to the next game and the next set of kids that UW is after
