Luciano to TE is hilarious. Ektard was just talking him up as a Center and saying Norgaard has a long way to go. Norgaard looked pretty good to me in the Spring fling shit. He looks and moves like a bigger Coleman Shelton. Obviously the coaches are comfortable with Norgaard and Murao as the the future at Center. Luciano is going to be a monster blocking TE. That dude racked up a shit load of pancakes on DT's at the JUCO level. Blocking DE's will be light work for him. That's an intriguing move. I don't think they're trying to run him off. I think they're trying to get him on the field because he's fucking tuff but too small for O-line and wasn't putting on the muscle mass they had hoped he would.
I think this also makes getting Jernias Tafia as a preferred walk-on Center important.
Holy shit Sama Paama is 347 and he's not fat. Is he even 18 yet? Hope he's ready mentally to be in the rotation this season. I don't think he's gonna be here for long. 3 and out talent.

He won't be 18 until like January or February IIRC. Almost positive he was still 16 when he signed.
1. Dom Hampton at 6’2 208 fucking lol R.i.p. pac 12 2. Sama at 350lbs fucking lol r.i.p. Justin Herbert 3. Latu has a mullet I knew I liked this guy 4. Anyone else pick up on the fact that all the uperclassmen seem to be like 20-25lbs lighter than all freshmen or redshirt freshmen????

Hampton and Taylor starting at corner would be a gruesome twosome. They're bigger than any of our safeties.
My ballz are fucking empty looking at this roster:
Puka Nacua: 6'1 204 as a true Freshman
Sama Paama: 6'4 347 as a true Freshman
Nate Kalepo: He looks a lot leaner and yet he got heavier due to muscle gains, 6'6 346 Jesus Christ. One of the best looking offensive lineman on the team as a true Freshman.
Julius Buelow: Also looks leaner and yet he's a 6'8 342 pound monster. He still probably has some fat to lose but he also has some muscle to gain in his upper body so his optimal weight might just be 340. Dude is massive.
Noa Ngalu: 6'1 292 as a true Freshman
Dom Hampton: 6'2 208 as a RS Freshman CB
Jackson Sirmon: 6'3 238 as a RS Freshman ILB
MJ Tafisi: 6'0 235 as a RS Freshman ILB
MJ Ale: Looks significantly leaner than he was when he showed up and yet he's 6'6 352.
Matteo Mele: 6'5 305 as a RS Freshman who was 275 a year ago.
Vic Curne: 6'3 320 as a RS Freshman and he's leaner than before.
Taki Taimani: 6'2 321
Tuli Letuligasenoa: 6'2 318 and significantly leaner than he was when he showed up.
Henry Bainivalu: 6'6 326
Ryan Bowman: 6'0 277? Can he even wipe his own ass at this point? Dude is an Ox. We know he can hold the edge. If he figures it out as a pass rusher he could be a wrecking ball.
Trey Adams: 6'8 314
Jared Hilbers: 6'7 316
I'm not saying all of those guys will be NFL guys. But damn, that's a lot of NFL looking talent. Especially the Freshman and RS Freshman. This is what leveling up looks like. Guys who look like NFL players as Freshman in college and rare, freakishly large humans that are athletic. Damn good looking team this staff has put together. Really excited about this season.

@StrongArmCobra in this thread has me second guessing myself when I refer to him as the village idiot. More of this ^^ and less shit poasting.
Dat Oline with with Pleasant or Dick Newton pounding on 3rd and short (we like to pound the Dick inside) if Luciano is any sort of a blocker this could be a Stanford power set redux.

Interesting to note because they had brought him in as a Center, but in spring Mele was taking reps at Center with Norgaard behind Harris.
