Monkey Island, Sam and Max, Fullthrottle, Discworld. Those games made up for a lack of complexity with animation, character, wit, and humor. I look forward to when they get adapted to mobile platforms.

Sierra was good, but Lucasarts games were good and funny. I still miss point and click adventure games altogether. Every once in a while somebody comes along and tries releasing a modern one. None have really done it for me.
