I get what you're saying and claiming. Labeling OKG as racist, though, implies that Petersen deliberately puts up standards that he believes/thinks/knows that poor black kids can't meet. I don't think that's what you actually believe. If you want to say Pete's OKG standards are biased against people from certain backgrounds I think you'd get more traction there, and I would probably agree with you on some level. Outright and intentional racism though?
Watching white people squirm is entertaining.

I appreciate you trying to help out my traction, but I'm doing fine thanks. Only white people don't understand this issue.
Great non-answer, as always. I give you credit for sticking to your guns no matter how irrational you might sound. Yes, I get it. You're black and only you can understand racism because of that fact. I should trust you when you call something racist no matter how irrational that claim may be.
    DDY isn't black...
That's exactly what Dennis is communicating.
How about you message board heroes let the actually people associated with the program speak on perceived racism. Maybe our NFL players who promote the program on twitter, or Buffy Miller?
The people we WANT to become associated with the program but aren't converting are the bellwether here not the people that have been all in for years.

Smalls, Rodgers, Scott, Phillips, Flowe, Ricks, DJ Johnson, Treshaun, Jeremiah Martin, etc are saying they have a problem with our recruiting or program.

Maybe we should hear that and adapt.
Can you please expound on the things Rodgers, Scott, Phillips, Flowe, Ricks, DJ Johnson, Treshaun, and Jeremiah Martin have said about our program? I need those juicy deets.
They said they are committing to other programs.
They commit to other programs and you construe that as them saying they have a problem with UW's recruiting or program? You have got to be shitting me with that response. Get over yourself.
When does the pattern of struggling to recruit black kids become a problem for you?

If UW signs 6 or fewer black kids in 2020 like they did in 2019 will that be a problem?
For most of us it'll be an issue when our talent falls off because of it. We could trot out the whitest team in college football ala Wisconsin for all I care (and they can wear pink tutus too). Just fucking win and I don't care.

You and Dennis can keep screaming about it in the meantime and juice Derek's page hits. I'll scream with you when it starts to bite us in the ass.

If UW signs 6 or fewer black kids in 2020 like they did in 2019 will that be a problem?
Never, because the demographics have changed. Mixed-black recruits outnumber full-black recruits out West. That's not a problem. It just is what is it is. The mixed-black kids and poly kids are the majority of the top talent out West and that will continue going forward. We do very well with those two demographics so we're fine. Out of the few full-black recruits out West this cycle, we're doing pretty well with some of them. Bijan Robinson, Jordan Banks, and Kourt Williams are legitimately interested and I think we could get two of them. Ringo was interested before he fell in love with Texas and that's fine. There's nothing wrong with UW if a kid likes Texas more than us. They're TEXAS for fuck sake. Not a bad school or program to be interested in. I still think Jimmy Lake will find a way to get us back in that one. All of this is much ado about nothing. The bottom line is the four main demographics for football talent out West are mixed-black, poly, white, and full-black. Three out of those four demographics love the built for life shit UW is selling. That means we have a pretty diverse recruiting pool to select from. Some schools like Nebraska and Wisconsin are stuck having to recruit mostly white kids. Some schools are stuck having to recruit mostly full-black kids. But UW's recruiting is way more flexible to the point the coaches don't have to worry about it. They can just recruit OKG's off all races and whoever wants in can be a Dawg. This is not a problem and the "perception" is not a problem. If some of the few full-black kids out West feel like they don't fit UW's culture that's fine, we'll replace them with the mixed-black kids who outnumber them anyways and a few African kids. That's the truth of the matter. We don't need to get a lot of them to win a national championship. In any given class, in the entire Western region of the U.S., there might only be 10 full-black football recruits who are UW caliber players. That's it. The demographics have changed that much the past 20 years. Some of them aren't OKG's and some of them just aren't interested. I expect us to get 2-3 of them per cycle. The rest will be mixed-black, poly, white, and maybe one or two Africans if we're lucky. Get used to it.
    Imagine reading this
I fixed it before you posted this.
I didn't read it for the second time
Nobody cares. You're like that one guy that nobody cares about who just awkwardly keeps hanging around and nobody says anything because they don't want to hurt his feelings. But I'm here to tell you, nobody cares. You're not cool. You're not even a UW fan. You provide nothing to this board. Nobody really cares or reads what you post.
    Sounds like you care
Bro, you're an ASU fan constantly trolling a UW board. There's no winning for you here.
    I don't troll bro.

    I hot take

Maybe you should learn the difference

What was the impetus to this ridiculous conversation

DDY has been pushing this "Pete hates black people" and institutional bias narrative since I've been reading this site, and likely before. And we wonder how this all started? He and his cult have started a giant game of Telephone, taken to social media about it, and it's snowballing. Recruits see this shit and seeds of doubt are planted. This is self-sabotage. Ironically, this narrative was started by our own fanbase, right fucking here. Isn't that special? Somebody cut the cord.
    This.

DDY was once like John Stewart, but this shit is more like Jim Jones.

I love white paternalism. I know you understand racism better than us, please educate me and my people how we can serve you better and make you more comfortable!

Sorry for being IRRATIONAL!!! Really sucks to be labeled as irrational. Hate that. I enjoy the calm, clear reasoning of the white mind.

Oh, Sav'ell dropped us. Did you hear? Wanna know why?

    Nah, never mind.
This is literally a page from the Democratic Party. The white democrat plantation owners are gunna protect the poor black folk because dems don’t think black people can take care of themselves. Can’t even get ID.
    This is amazing. Turdbuffer's worldview:

-Implementing stricter voter ID laws can't be racist because regulations apply equally to everyone and Republicans certainly don't have any ulterior motives.
-Democrats are the real racists for pointing out the fact that a higher % of black people don't have ID so such laws would disenfranchise black people at a highly disproportionate rate.
-If only Democrats didn't point out this fact we could all pretend it doesn't exist.

Maybe it should then I can ignore it. I do have to respond to this link though.

A 2006-2014 study found "strict identification laws have a differentially negative impact on the turnout of racial and ethnic minorities in primaries and general elections. We also find that voter ID laws skew democracy toward those on the political right.”

Then there was a "follow-up study" which wasn't actually a new study just critiquing methods and possible errors in the initial study and re-running it using their own assumptions and "corrections" and then concluding the effect was not as large as the study had found.

Great, do your own experiment then!

And while you are at it- tell the Republicans that it won't have any effect so stop wasting time with this ID bullshit and focus on reducing polling stations, hours, and early voting as we all agree those will depress turnout.

I've yet to see a reasonable explanation on why someone can't get an ID rich or poor of any color when they are so vital for everything

I would imagine that person is unlikely to vote

But I'm enjoying our detant so peace

if it helps - I am white and if I had to show ID to vote, I wouldn't vote.

Did I skew any of the studies yet?

another thing I wonder about, is it tough for minorities/elderly/anyone else to get a stamp so they can vote? I know in Warshington it is paid for, but I figure someone out there is so stupid they put a stamp on the envelope anyway - we need to protect those folks

Stanford and BYU are the whitest teams around. Interestingly they do well.

The "white privilege" teams in reality are the rich kids at division three private schools.
