Can't Stevenson just claim he heard someone in the crowd at Witchita yell "cracker" and get immediate eligibility?Neighbor2972 said:
Pryor is JUCO, he probably still has to qualify academically thoughCallMeBigErn said:
Pryor and Stevenson will get waivers for 2020, no?ThomasFremont said:So, still zero recruits for 2020. 3 spots to fill...
Corona might help getting Stevenson a waiver -
I’m not sure they get waivers, but who knows. Not convinced either of these guys is much of an upgrade.

MPJ said on IG live Fultz was going to come back when he was still committed.
Perhaps this is what Basnight has been talking about the whole time? Massive blunder?
Could be all smoke though -

Riots declared for the draft March 10th. Romar was gored March 15th. If Fultz wanted to come back and play with MPJ he could have used his declared he was coming back and then left if Romar was fired and MPJ moved on.
If Fultz would have come back to play with MPJ that would have been a situation where keeping Romar for one more year made sense.
Fultz wasn’t coming back. -
Yeah no way he gives up top pick status to play another year for free. This is the kind of shit dumb fans think kids care about.dnc said:Riots declared for the draft March 10th. MAYBE if he was a local kid who grew up with MPJ and they were best friends that dreamed of playing in college together, MAYBE I could see it. But neither had any connection to the area, the school, or each other. And even then, Fultz would be crazy to come back. Can you imagine how much damage he would have done to his draft stock if he stayed and got hurt in college instead of getting hurt in the pros? -

I thought this guy was skipping it altogether and waiting for the draft. Or was that a different local blue chip?Neighbor2972 said: -
You're thinking Beauchamp who was a fringe 5 star.1to392831weretaken said:

Paolo is a top 5 national player. Future NBA All-Star.
Beauchamp probably doesn't even go first round. -
I've got to say though, these one and done players haven't made big impacts for Oregon and Washington so far.

If those G League kids do well, I wonder if he considers that route too.

Washington: “Obviously both of my parents went there, that’s the hometown school. I have been up there countless times. My visit wouldn’t even really do anything because I have seen everything there. Coach [Will] Conroy and coach [Cameron] Dollar, I have known coach Conroy since he played at Washington and have known coach Dollar since he was coaching at Seattle. Then coach [Mike] Hopkins came in and embraced me. When he first came in he introduced himself, his first summer, right when he got here he came up to O’Dea and introduced himself. He was energetic and has been the same ever since. Obviously, some of my former teammates go there. They struggled this year but with the coaching staff they have and the freshman they have to build around, if I were to go there I would be able to walk into a really good situation.”

If he doesn't come to UW, Mike Hopkins should be fired. I like Paolo, and I think he still has room for growth, as do most 16-17 year olds. Funny what he says about Conroy because he would have been like 2 years old Conroy's senior season. He does make a good point thought that in two years, Battle and Tshonis will be Juniors. Stevenson who produced pretty well at Wichita will be a redshirt sophomore. Quade Green will be a senior, J'Raan Brooks (who honestly I'm not expecting too much out of) will be a reshirt Junior, Penn Johnson redshirt Junior, Bey a Senior, Nate Roberts redshirt Junior. That is obviously with the assumption all of those guys progress and get better. Add the kid from Olympia, and you should have a pretty good mix of shooters, distributors, and big men / rim protectors. I'm not certain they are world beaters but a fun team to watch.

Agree he’s a must get. I wish I agreed with the rest. Under normal circumstances I think they should improve a lot. But I haven’t seen that from any of Hop’s guys yet.huskyhooligan said:If he doesn't come to UW, Mike Hopkins should be fired. Take... Between him and Stevenson they would be the best shooters UWs seen in a few years
-
I had a feeling he wasn't gonna last out there (at Michigan). I want him
-
Should be an easy take of UW can get him. He’s 6’7” and can shoot but is lacking physical development.

That'll do. I hope for more but I'd be satisfied with white Suggs.bananasnblondes said:

How does a kid from Lynden end up going to Michigan?
Re: Paulo, we really going to go through that one and done shit again? Of course you want him, but building a successful program isn't going to happen because we get a guy like that. Also, Hopkins is still the coach with his shit zone and retard offense. Hopkins needs to go, first, before any progress can be made.
