can't wait for the basketball season to start. at least UW has one decent coach on the payroll
I still like Pete, but Hop would be great to play for. He’s tough on the team and demands a high level of play, but has fun at the same time. DNC said he’s a players coach with standards and I agree. He doesn’t single players out when he’s pissed. He could be great. We’ll find out in the next couple of years.
Evan Daniels crystalballed Cunningham to Kentucky. He waits till it’s pretty set in stone to dip his balls in the crystal. Bad as it is for Udub, at least we’re not Okie Lite

So... In a few months I'm guessing they'll be looking pretty heavily at any potential transfer options
We're allegedly trying to get a couple guys to reclassify into 2020, which seems like a bad idea to me but clearly we're desperate.
I'm curious the strategy on that. Unless its an elite player (i.e. Banchero who isn't reclassifying), how much does it even benefit the team? Is getting Grant to reclass that much different than just leaving it open and taking him in 2021.

Naz was a reclass
He was 2017 all the way and considered reclassifying to 2018 but did not.
I think Wright was a reclass guy. In any case, it’s not a recipe for success. There aren’t that many guys that can reclassify.
And not all reclassifications are created equal. When a guy reclassifies to go to college sooner (Jontay Porter, JT Daniels) you're turning his HS senior year into his freshman year. When a guy reclassifies to go to college later (Isaiah Thomas) you're turning his college sophomore year into his college freshman year.
The IT model is much more likely to be successful.
Obviously there are guys who are too old for their class who then reclassify down into their rightful class but that's a smaller pool.

“I liked it a lot. I like coach Dave Rice a lot. I’ve known him for a while now. I like Washington a lot; their campus is nice.”
