Game of Thrones season 8 mega thread
IMO incest ruins everything.
@StrongArmCobra true?
The Targaryans practiced incest and it led to their losing their throne and nearly dying out, the Lannister incest led to the ruin of the Baratheon dynasty and a massive civil war, and we'll probably find out that Craster's incest and the sacrifice of his male children led to the rise of the White Walkers and the War Between the Living and the Dead. Which doesn't bode well for Jon and Dany's upcoming marriage, does it?
DOES IT?

You ancient motherfucker
Realistic choice: Sansa - Dany and Jon will die tragic heroic deaths leaving the throne to Sansa.
Wishful thinking: The Night King
Arya and The Hound. He sees her as an equal now. Sansa and Tyrion, they are pretty much the same politically. Sam and Dany just realized they have history. I think Jorah will be the one to smooth things over. Jaime and Bran. Not really Bran though, so he probably says the past is in the past. The Greyjoys. Yara in the opposite situation where Theon goes out of his way to save her. She knocks him down and holds out her hand to show him they need to trust each other.
Jon thought about taking Dany into the love cave, and it reminds him of what Ygrette said to him while she was dying. Euron also reminded Cersei about Jaime leaving, she is very bitter about that. Now she's thinking she can tell everyone it's Euron's, so they get married and when she gets tired of him, she can do to him what she did to her last husband.
I don’t think the show has the stones to go with the Mad Queen theory, but that’d be amazing. At least they’re acknowledging that she isn’t this infallible liberator.
But it feels completely out of place given the current predicament. No one in the North should really care about who's king or queen, who they don't trust, etc. when the army of the dead is about to attack with a fucking ice dragon
Agree with you @Gladstone, it would be a master stroke on the show runners part if they went with the whole Mad Queen angle with Dany, but they won’t. They’ve been dropping hints like anvils in a Looney Tunes cartoon that she’s going to get knocked up by having Dany insist to anyone that will listen that she’s barren. A Song of Ice and Fire baby. Yawn.
I want to see what happens with Tyrion. He used to be such an intergral part of the story and now all he does is look sullen and poke fun at Varys for being a eunuch.
Glad Lady Mormont called Jon on his shit. Yes, an army of the dead is coming, but you could’ve done something besides given your kingdom away wholesale to Targaryen Barbie. I hope they make Sansa Queen of the North, and Tyrion, Varys, and Davos are her Privy Council.
Something tells me she'll go crazy and not want to give up her title
Guess not and that’s why they let the little Umber lordling cruise back to his house just to become a part of a macabre arts and crafts display.
Dany and Jon just fucking in random ice waterfalls when the Ice King could pop up at any time was a bold move as well.
Enough being picky, it was a good builder episode even though a lot of it felt like an awkward 10 year highschool reunion.
