But yes, if the Federal Government would have never created Fannie and Freddie and banks who issued mortgages kept them on their books like they did prior to Fannie and Freddie, you would have never had a housing meltdown and the subsequent financial crisis. You're free to craft an argument that refutes my statement but we both know you won't.
