Not exactly the kind of kid who can necessarily afford to walk-on. It’s a shame cause he’s exactly the type of kid who’d benefit a lot from a local program as good as Pete’s.

Do our walk ons actually pay tuition? I know we are lite on coffee cups but this seems to far.

Pete ain’t runnin a prep school.
He’s supposed to be finding the best athletic talent that can qualify academically.
He’s supposed to be focused on winning football gams.

And yet no where in there did I say we should give him a scholarship. If they can figure out a PWO situation that works for the family that’d be great because you should want kids like him in the program.
He plays mean and has elite speed. His RB highlights are majority toss-sweep plays which, in my opinion, leaves a big question mark as to his vision between the tackles. That being said, McGrew did a lot of his damage in high school on the toss-sweep and he is turning into a serviceable between the tackles runner so maybe we can develop that part of his game.
I'm always partial to taking a Seattle native with some fucking attitude if he can fill a need.
Coker just approved. KB followed him. Which is amazing because now that KB is done with recruiting he only follows light skinned honeys.
Offer him. Let's get him in the boat. Kid is fucking good.
You like him at safety or RB?
I like him at S maybe a little more, but I see him as a guy with a chance to be a really good RB.
I agree with @ToddTurnerLIVES that toss sweeps worry me, but what I like is that when he's in traffic and not 'thinking' he has the subtle body positioning things he does that are quick twitch that get defenders off balance and he has the quick twitch to blow by them.
He reminds me of Boobie Williams.
Also: I think given that we missed on Charbs, fuck it, take this guy. Play him at RB... if it doesn't work out, move to DB. He's not fucking Jomon Dotson. He knows how to play football.
Here’s where I hate the limited offers shit. A UW offer, even if it was non-commitable would’ve done wonders for this kid, making other coaching staffs look at him. Really hope he gets an offer now to play here and we don’t just dick him around the last few months. I said it earlier but this is exactly the type of kid you want in your program.

Preferred walkons have access to yhings like training table etc ... But don't have tuition paid for.
Something like that
