It seems as if the author believes that the return to our traditional uniform is not that far off:
“...As far as design goes, you probably shouldn’t expect to see anything wild like what you’ve seen between Nike and their “guinea pigs” at Oregon. In fact, the current design aesthetic in college football is trending more in a conservative direction. Even the Ducks themselves started wearing more traditional colors and striping patterns more often last season and if the taste-makers of college football design are going in that direction, then you can imagine that the rest of the sport will follow.”

Why you giving hope to some of the old doogs here?

The money angle is fine, but most of you faggots are jerking each other off because Nike = whOregon (lol!) and every doog one of you seems to be conveniently forgetting Adidas' um, "competence" in the football uniform field.
You guys who think hiring Adidas signals a move to more traditional uniforms and shit haven't been paying attention.
full disclosure edit: Remember the parody account @Cohen12 ? Yeah, that was me. Hardly anyone knows that. I made it to make fun of her because I hated her. Notice you don't see it much anymore? Because she kicks ass. That's why.
@Cohen12 was my idea, I was always mad I never registered it myself. I think you should break it out now and use it like an @ArtBriles account, real aggressive and just go like super doog mode, attacking anyone who doubts your powers.
It was your idea, but in a unusual turn, the red man stole it from the white man.

mad
Nah, I can't wait to see what crazed bullshit Adidas has dialed up for you guys.
I also would note that Nike had a right of first refusal, and Swoosh Inc didn't meet Adidas' offer, money wise. So, good move for both sides. Adidas wanted UW more than Nike did, UW gets paid, I get to laugh at the faggoty bullshit UW starts trotting out on Saturdays. Win-Win--Win.

I'm really disappointed!!!
