Someone help the poor please! Did he get his Stanford app in yet? Is he still planning a Dec commit?
He got his app in but scheduled his commitment announcement before he got close to finishing his app which makes me kind of interested. But from the start all I’ve heard is that’s he’s going to Stanford with Washington & Oregon right behind & catching his eye but never really fully invested into them. I’ve heard he’s kind of an aloof kid who was to himself at his first two schools before transferring to Bosco. While he has a real quiet OKG reputation, it seems like he was picky about his first two high schools and hasn’t fit in the best at Bosco despite balling out.
But this article isn’t about his recruiting, it’s actually a highlight of how bad USC’s recruiting philosophy is. He said that they know he’s signing in December so they decided to try to finally advance their relationship to a personal level which means more than mail, email, texts. Then they asked him about what they said in their first meeting in a long time or about they’re plan with him and he said “they told me we’re just trying to get to know you because you know we need DB’s and didn’t really mention playing time outside of ‘well you’ve seen our DB’s we could use some help’”

Good ole “you can see how shitting we are, help us” approach. Been using that one on the ladies for a long time.LaMichael_Corleone said:Domicillo said:

Strong on the UW likes on Twitter recently. As of a couple of weeks ago, he wants to commit in the beginning of December and sign during the early period.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I still find it strange that UW is the only OV he's been on but he paid out of pocket to visit both Stanford and Oregon. Not sure if that's good or bad for us.

I may be a doog but I think that's good for us. An unofficial visit is secluded to the campus of the school being visited whereas an official visit allows the coaches to take him and his parents out to dinner off campus and for him to see the surrounding area and what not. More personal time for the coaches with him and his family. Suggests to me he's more interested in getting to know the UW coaching staff than the others. To play devil's advocate, if a player has the choice of taking an official (free) trip vs an unofficial (paid) why would they opt for the unofficial? Just seems strange. I'm assuming he will take an OV to one or both of those schools over the next several weekends. If he doesn't then I like our chances.StrongArmCobra said:
