Coaches is plural.Swaye said:
It looks like the fan pressure is working. You might dodge this bullet. Get an avatar. Stick around. We like people who hint at killing coaches without actually saying it. Subtle.RockyBottom said:My sister lives in Seattle so if it's Schiano I guess I've got a reason to support UW - at least until Schiano's house is lit on fire or some hillbilly kidnaps him and makes him squeal like a pig, Deliverance-style. Either way, it would be a fun ride to watch winning football again - it's been so long. If Schiano is hired theres no way he stays more than 2-3 years.
I'd imagine he wouldn't even feel very safe doing the "Vol Walk" before games. Knoxville would destroy this man. The Rock alone should be enough to make this man stay far, far away from Knoxville. You can't buy enough protection to make you feel safe around that many Vol fans. Seriously if this man has a wife and family, I don't care how much Haslam offered him - he is putting his family's life in danger if he accepts the job.
All things considered though... this must be a red herring placed by UTAD to make us feel better about our real hire... who will no doubt be just as disappointing, but with a less checkered history than Schiano.
Getting real close to the call for genocide there. Real close. -

he ready.
lmao, who am i kidding? its gonna be leach. -
lmao, theyre gonna have to pay schiano a fuckin buyout!!!!
edit: holy fucking shit

Thats actually kind of scary. Goes to show the kind of power the fake outrage community has. The same community that wants to eliminate masculinity. This country is doomed.Doogles said:The Vols did it and the Schiano hire is cancelled. Crazy. This has to be the first time social media has affected change at this stage so quickly in college football.
Their AD is so fucked and I have bags of popcorn waiting to see this play out.
This has 0 to do with what happened at Penn State and EVERYTHING to do with Tennessee fans feeling like Schiano isn't good enough. If they were guranteed a national title within the first 4 years of coaching tenure no one would be saying shit about the Sandusky bullshit. The fans used it as a Trojan horse (and were successful). It sure won't help them land that candidate they want with their crazy fan base and their witch hunts. -
