Plagiarising my shit, fucko!Doogles said:The Vols did it and the Schiano hire is cancelled. Crazy. This has to be the first time social media has affected change at this stage so quickly in college football.
Their AD is so fucked and I have bags of popcorn waiting to see this play out. -
This. You would think that the AD would’ve had some kind of vetting process. They must’ve known that they were kicking Butch to the curb weeks ago and been in talks with potential replacements. Did they just panic when their first, second, third, etc. choices didn’t work out?RockyBottom said:
No idea what the big money guys at UT are thinking anymore. If it was up to me and Frost is off the table, I'd go in a bidding war against Arky for Neal Brown or get back on the Lane train. Maybe even look at Candle, Norvell, or Morris. Beyond that, I'm not sure - Holgorsen maybe? buyout Campbell? Venables, Pruitt/Daboll come to mind as well but I'm not sure they'd be the right fit. Pruitt would take the job in a hearbeat but I don't think Knoxville would feel good about that hire.Edwin_Bambino said:
Speaking from one college fan to another you DO NOT want our OC. He would set you back another five years.RockyBottom said:Guys I tried to pick a fitting name for my username for this board. It appears even I have failed at that. Should have picked Rocky Hell.
Seriously, I hope you guys are enjoying this. I have no fucking idea what's going on, came back from eating and doing laundry to find reports of Schiano being hired. I'm hoping this was some epic troll job or smokescreen, but my goodness... I have so many questions... like does anyone have a rifle I can borrow? Or maybe some scissors so I can give myself a vasectomy?
Fuck everything. I'd prefer your OC than this douche nozzle.
But serious question, where do you go from here on the coaching front if Schiano ends up not going through?
The fact that Schiano was even offered the job and our AD apparently had no knowledge of the allegations is completely fucked. Proves our AD is either a special kind of incompetent or he's making up excuses because the big money (Haslam) told him to do so. It's going to be a shit-show, either way, that much I guarantee. -
no clue where the vols meltdown thread truly lives but will poast this here:
gtfo, tennessee is beyond fucked.
edit: fuck its fake, parody account, may be sven's

Wait, it was "sworn testimony?!?" Oh, well, that's different. Sworn testimony doesn't mean jack shit. No different than saying you know a guy whose sister works at 31 Flavors and they said....
Agree with the poster above: fake outrage. Where has this outrage been since Schiano's still be coaching kids at OSU? Nobody gives a shit about that, but they do if he gets a different job? They just didn't think he was good enough. How about this? Urban Meyer has apparently been shielding and enabling a man who (allegedly) stood by and let kids get sexually assaulted. Think there'd have been an uprising if UT announced that Urb was going to be their next head coach? -
Jesus. One of his lackeys couldn’t pull up the man’s Wikipedia article?TierbsHsotBoobs said:

Controversy
In 2016, a Philadelphia court released documents in relation to the Penn State child sex abuse scandal revealing testimony from Mike McQueary stating that Schiano was aware of the abuse by fellow assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.[21] In his testimony, McQueary claimed "only that he had — I can’t remember if it was one night or one morning — but that Greg had come into his office white as a ghost and said he just saw Jerry doing something to a boy in the shower. And that’s it. That’s all he ever told me.”[22] Schiano denied having knowledge of the abuse.[23] -
