I agree, but I define such a team not as a rival, but as a crush.

It's just a too bit lopsided to be a rivalry. "All I saw was Purple" is a big deal to Washington. They barely remember it as a footnote. SC absolutely throttles everyone else in this confrunce on almost every measure of program success. You name the category, and SC has a huge ass margin over 2nd best in said category. Nobody is their rival, save for UCLA, and that's all about LA and nothing else.

Oregon is our? your? their? rival ... the Ducks are our? your? their? reality.

SC is our? your? their? team crush. They're the dreamy af HS senior all the chicks dig; we're the awkward B cup sophomore dreaming (wetly) that he'll ask us to homecoming, and would do ANYTHING he asked.
