You can't place someone in the top 3 who hasn't even yet eclipsed Slingblade's acheevments. To be top 3 he would need to be higher ranked than Saban, Urban, Harbaugh. Not going to happen.

You'd piss all over Heldrich's "accomplishments" to have Petersen as your coach.

    PS Petersen > Harbaugh
Win a playoff game then pop off.
Harbaugh's never won a college playoff game either, and 12 of 32 NFL teams make the playoffs rather than 4 of 100+, so please don't pretend that somehow counts the same.
Harbaugh >>>>>>>>>>>> Petersen. Petersen's fuskies won the PAC on a down year.
Speaking of down years, you might recall the PAC from 2009- 14.

Harbaugh had to deal with Chip Kelly. Petersen had to deal with Slingblade and David Shaw. HTH.

    Pete is undefeated versus Chip.

    Winners win.

One of my favorite reoccurring themes here is that an active coach with 3 Pac titles in 6 seasons, 2 Rose Bowl Wins, and 4 Top 10 finishes gets no love from HH. That there is some funny chit.

Same with Stoops. 3 title appeances, one win. Consistently pumps out 10+ win seasons. Made the playoff the year before UW did. He's not even mentioned by most.
He chokes more than pump's hoes choke on his bloody cocksicle.

If I remember correctly pumpys hoes aren't like the porns chicks. Ergo, they actually don't choke on the red and brown cocksicles.

I voted no because there is an unwritten rule about rankings players or coaches without championships above one that has.

Other than Saban, I'm not sure there is another coach I would trade for, especially at UW.

Meyer has had a better career, but he burned out at Florida and could again at Ohio State.

    Harbaugh is too psycho.

Dabo is good but I question if that good ol boy bullshit works as well in Seattle.

    Same for Fisher.

Not sure who else can legitimately be in the conversation.

I know a coach who went to the Natty in year two and is 2-1 against Chris Petersen. You guys should hire him, I hear he's looking for a new gig

He was lucky with getting Luck and Hogan while coaching under Harbaugh (though he probably helped recruit them). He has often struck me as a guy who is a better recruiter than coach.

2017 will be a good year to judge him without a Luck / Hogan (and McCaffrey too).

He's not (yet) a top three coach IMO, but I agree, he's probably the best fit for UW, and he's a damned good football coach to boot.

Can't speak for anyone else, but this is the first time since Don James was head coach that I haven't been apprehensive about the guy leading the program.
