Look up LBJ and the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Then look up Nixon and the Southern Strategy.
    Finally look up Lee Atwater.

For those that haven't seen it, I'd highly recommend "All the way" which was HBO's movie about LBJ starring Heisenberg. It's outstanding. Some of LBJ's policies ended up sucking - e.g., Southeast Asia - but he was a TUFF liberal of the kind you have to admire.

Only one party had a majority leader this century who was a grand wizard.

And Bill Clinton's mentor was a segreationist

    But still

Blacks were mostly upper middle class in the Reagan and Bush years. Clinton's reinstatement of Aparthied really set the black prosperity movement back, especially when he ordered their confinement to the urban ghettos.

Keep deflecting. The democrats just made the decision to purchase black votes with our tax dollars in 1964. Thanks Lyndon.

Federal government spends money on 3 things basically, Medicare, Social Security and Defense. Everything else is chicken shit compared to these. LBJ's great society legislation - of which Medicare is by far the largest expenditure to this day - wasn't enacted until 1965. I don't think the Civil Rights Act of 1964 cost the tax payers very much. As someone under 40, I'm a lot more worried about old white people robbing me blind through Medicare - i.e., generational transfer of wealth - than I am about some amount of welfare going to poor black people. How many old white Trump voters what to keep the "Goverment's Hands" off their Medicare?

Anyone with the balls to hire a hit on his boss so he can get the jerb, then kill the killer, then the killer's killer, is as TUFF as they come.

It's up to her and the democrats to bring up his horrible voting record and the racist parts of his past. And then it's up to the Republicans to bring up the good stuff he's done.

It's almost as if in the United states senate we are supposed to debate things.
I hope all you milo yiannopolous lovers are just as OUTRAGED at her losing her freedom to speak in the Senate as you are when some anarchists shut down an Internet troll's speech at a college campus

    Your better than that.
