I completely agree with what Race is saying, and I will add a couple thoughts. First off, it makes me cringe to see our president whining like that on Twitter. Not the way I want my president to be. On the other hand, I appreciate that he's fully being himself and not putting on a front. You always know where he stands on an issue instead of him checking the polls before saying anything.
And I probably spend a modest $150 a year at Nordstrom -- but not anymore.
I like to root for the University of Washington's athletic teams and then bitch about the behavior of a corporation who's biggest individual shareholders have deep, multi-generational ties to the University of Washington and have been long time supporters of and competitors for University of Washington athletic programs.
The then reality-TV show host trolled then President Obama with a viciously relentless energy over golfing, and yet, just two weeks in, President Trump is not only on vacation, but golfing.

Donald's a basic bitch. Deal with it or get the wrath.

I never thought I'd be playing devil's advocate for Donald Trump, but I can understand a parent wanting to defend their daughter. Harry Truman once threatened a reporter who had uncharitable things to say about his daughter's singing (I think she was trying to be an actress/opera singer). Then again, most parents aren't heads of state who have high profile Twitter accounts and Trump should be held to higher standard of decorum.
I don't think Nordstrom dropping the brand is politically motivated (though I'm sure they're loving the FREE PUB!). With a few exceptions, most celebrity branded retail lines have a short shelf life - I bet the sales would've dropped off even if Ivanka's father didn't run for president.

Write the fucking Romar check and I'll shut up.
