I didn't mind Garnett and Banner leaving because the program fucking sucked. Sarrell is different. For the first time in decades, if he wants to play football and be a badass UW is the spot on the west coast. We're back bitches.
It's common knowledge that there is only 2 cities in the PAC that Championship caliber football is possible. Someone in his inner circle needs to tell him Stanford not on the list because no one cares about Stanford Football including their fanbase.

It's easier to play in a stadium of 400 poetry-reading fans than be a transcendent hometown hero. Or something. I like to fuck my cat.
It's easier to take a HANDout JOBs from Facebook and get grindered out in the Bay. Then it is to set yourself up in your "Hometown",be a Husky Legend and literally be the BIG man on campus.

So I have been holding out hope for Foster for no real good reason, but today I did some TBSing and he's gone. To be honest, he's never seemed interested in UW in my opinion...sucks!
This kid is just Josh (err, Joshua) Garnett revisited. Except Sarrell is spurning a legit UW football program.
He's used the Garnett playbook from day 1. Play coy with the media, never turn down an opportunity to be interviewed or provide an opinion on his recruitment, pretend that this is some gut-wrenching decision, stress to everyone that talks to you that this is all about education. The constant tongue bath for "what a good kid" he is ... is nauseating.
He's been a Stanford lock for a LONG time.
This bullshit about wishing him well if he choses Stanford, or that he deserves atta-boy's for going through the "process" and making the decision that is best "for him" is just that ... bullshit.
Praising how articulate and thoughtful he is fucking meaningless as well ... unless you're looking for one more reason to stroke this kids ego. I don't give a shit if he speaks in grunts and groans ... just commit or GTFO.
If you're gonna go to Stanford, then just say "I'm going to Stanford" and be done with the charade.
Shit like this HAS A COST to UW football recruiting. How much time, energy and effort has been spent on this kid (because if you're the UW, you have to try ... not arguing that) that could have been spent focusing on other recruits that are critical to fill a position of need? How many legit "plan B" guys have disappeared as we wait to hear this kid say "Stanford" on Saturday?
The fact that our current commits that are playing in the Army All-American game all feel the need to kiss this kids ass in hopes that he joins them at UW is fucked up. The UW guys are coming to a program that was one game away from playing for the national title, and their attitude should reflect it. I'd rather they be telling "Big Foz Bear" (lol, wtf?) that he can join them if he wants, but if not, he should be prepared to get his shit pushed for the next 4 years and then walk the fuck away.
At least with Reuben Foster you knew up front you were gonna' need a bigger coffee cup than Alabama or Auburn, but I find the ego stroking and manipulation perpetrated the likes of Garnett and Sarrell every bit as off putting.
Our track record for can't miss blue chip OL is fucking disgraceful. He joins a long list....Shilling, DeCastro, Garnett...and now Fozzy Fuckface. Everyone should be shot.

Garnett picks Stanford, Doogman mouth breathers say that's fine since when Garnett is operating on them in the OR, he'll have a Stanford education.
Yet he's now in the NFL...
BONERS

I know. TL;DR.
