"Tough day for Jake Browning. 12 for 20 with 1 TD and 1 INT."

Great win, but this kid still hasn't shown he can carry a team when it's close.

God bless Myles Gaskin.

I'll take the win. Whew.

Browning is a good QB. He would be a lot worse without Gaskin, Pettis, and the defense though.

I'm glad this game will finally put out the Heisman fire. He had no chance.

Hobert/Brunei is a good QB. He would be a lot worse without, Beno Bryant, Jay Berry, Nip, Mario Bailey, Bruener, Emtman, 91 D, etc ...

Bunch of old man bullshit in this thread.
You are fucked in the head if you think Browning is anywhere near Billy Joe Gunslinger.

    Game manager.

as grampa race says, the QB is rarely the savior. Browning fits this system, but it's the running game and the WR's that make this offense go

That is mostly true. It's interesting because most QBs aren't going to be a savior and a really good QB can pull a few wins out of his ass. Good QBs have a great chance of success when surrounded by other good players. But take a great team with a dreck QB and they're going to struggle.

I'll let it play out, but I don't think you can win a natty with Brownsocks.

He couldn't handle the Heisman hype.
