I don't really care. I know plenty of fans who never attended the school but grew up in the Puget Sound area.
I'm not a huge fan of the drunken blue collar idiots (more prevalent in the Seahawks or any NFL fan base), but it's a huge part of the general football fan base. I could also do without the try hard women who get dressed up in pink shirts and frilly beanies, and don't really understand the game beyond a rudimentary level (so basically 95% of them). -

Irregardless it will soon be a mute poont because moast of the people who go to UW now could care less about football. Non alum doogs are the future of this pea patch or there won't be one.

I just want to say that @BrickSquad is my guy either way. Trolling WSU students is the best.
I turned down a full ride to WSU to pay for UW. The guidance counselor was a Coug and he was like "Dennis, WSU needs students like you, I'm sure they will help you out if a ride isn't enough."
I told him that—all due respect (he was a good guy)—there was no way on earth I could ever be a Coug and that if they made me pay double to go to UW I would do it to avoid going to WSU.
It worked out well for me. Best decision I ever made. Literally. -
