I think it's elitist bullshit to say only UW alums can root for the Dawgs. I went to UW myself but know plenty of fans who never went to the school but chose to root for the Huskies cause they are the home town CFB team. Coug fans area always bitching about it cause no one who didn't go to WSU would want to root for their program.
Look around at the major programs across the country. Do you really think Tennessee can fill out a 110k stadium with only alums and students? When I went down to LSU for our plungering a few years ago, we met a ton of LSU fans at the tailgate who had never gone to the school.
Right now the Huskies are finally getting some pub around town and the bandwagon is starting to fill up. I dream of this town going as crazy about the Dawgs as they did for the Seahawks 3-4 years ago. HUSKY FEVER is back. -
