He gets to keep his scholarship due to the "injury-forced retirement". Methinks he just didn't want to play anymore and Petersen didn't want him anymore but Petersen is a nice guy so he didn't tell him to GTFO

Caple is reporting that Miles was on crutches and recovering from hip surgery when he signed his LOI...I forgot about that.

This is a good resolution for all involved. Actually sounds like his hip thing was chronic and only getting worse. If not totally accurate, IDGAF.
