In the Super Bowl that was just one giant ass kicking.PostGameOrangeSlices said:
What the fuck...chuck said:Seattle buttfucking Denver was not a moment. It was a game. A cool result for a Seahawk fan but not a real climactic game nor did it have a single moment that I really remember.
The 1995 playoff series with the Yanks had a lot of memorable moments and might have been one of the most entertaining baseball series ever played.
No holy mother fucking shit moments. -

Kam Chancellor destroying Thomas on the bubble screen?
Percy taking the second half kickoff to the house?
Kearse's + Baldwin's filthy tds?
Those plays >>>>>>> Mariners historic moments compiled together

I know most of you here will throw acid on my face like a cheating Iranian whore for saying this, but that M's series was one of the biggest moments of my childhood. To that point I hadn't experienced anything like it.
The Double Choke is definitely a HUGE moment (i'm still trying to process how improbable), but I can't discount the impact that series and double had on me at that time. Griffey Sliding home and popping to his feet in celebration is an iconic clip replayed all the time nationally. It meant something. -

But as a kid who loved the Seahawks, Sherman hitting that ball last year ... that was fucking 10 times the magic to me.
And this year ... holy shit. After being on the receiving end of those chokes for so long! -
Fuck Thiel, he is as relevant as the drunk at the end of the bar mumbling nonsense during the game.

If the M's had finished the journey yes, but it all came to a screeching halt. Thats the difference. The hawks, dawgs and supes took care of business. The hawks still in progress. If they lose bowl, it will suck the air out of the Packer disaster.
Thats why I hate the M's. Their owners, Gas, Thiel Groz and fans are still milking it. That was 20 fucking years ago. They didnt make the series. All the magic was dust. Worthless M's then, worthless today. Enough plugging that double to sell season tickets. Let it go -
I'm not even going to discuss baseball on a thread where the 91 Dawgs, the Super Bowl Champion Seahawks and the World Champion Sonics are being discussed.
I'm just not.
And that game yesterday puts them all on the second shelf, IMO.
