Something just doesn't smell right with the QB situation.

I am 81% sure Peterman went with the QB who sucked the least and would not throw interceptions.

But how the hell does the program have three highly ranked QB's and not one is decent.

It just doesn't work for me.

The only thing I can figure out is these guys had legs not arms.

Sark must have been trying to find the next Dixon, with a better knee.

Seriously wish the kid luck in the future... unlike dreckfest QB's like big sky who transferred. He did seem to get a raw deal and brutal conditions to get his first career start.

That's why KJ is a big deal to me. Either Pete needs to completely rebuild Miles (extremely unlikely) or his guy needs to be able to play the opener next year.

For fuck's sake, Williams didn't get a raw deal. He had all spring and fall camp to win the job and he lost to a fucking swede from Mercer Island. Then he sucked in the start he got and was lucky he didn't throw 3 more picks.

If he was any good, he would have played when Miles was stinking it up. Either that or Petersen is the idiot Kim and those other dipshits think he is. We'll find out if Williams ever does anything for another school.

Yea I'm with Road on this. Why all the bemoaning the transfer? Kid isn't good. End of story. Highly touted QB recruits flame out all the time.

Much like coaches, you just keep making changes until you find the right guy. Could be KJ Hyphen-Animal, could be Jake Browning.

It's clearly not Troy.

He was 5th in the PAC for completion % and 2nd for interceptions (in a good way).

The problem is he was 10th for YPA at 7.3.

On paper he is not a bad QB, good completion %, doesn't throw interceptions.

On the field the defense knew how to rattle him and knew he couldn't get it more than 5 yards down the field.

RD55 nailed it. The kid had two rather large opportunities to secure the job.

The Superbowl Bonfire Incident (Spring/Fall) and the ASU game where he truly should have had 4+ picks.

Lots of talent in the CFB world would kill for two legitimate opportunities to become a D1 starter.

Apparently his preparation did not line up with his opportunity.
