How is it better than the ACC or the XII again? It's on par with those two conferences.

the ACC is FSU and nobody else. I'd take the Pac-12 in 81% of those matchups.

Big 12 isn't anything special either. They need Texas to be good in order to be a legit conference.

Disagree. It's still the second best conference and it isn't that close. The ACC, Big 12, and Big 10 are all still worse. The coaching in the Pac 12 has gotten better on the whole. Mora > Rick, Graham > Erickson, Rich Rod > Stoops, Leach > Wulff, Petersen > Sark, McIntyre > Embree Sark = Kiffin. Some of those are versions of Sark > Ty, but overall the coaching is a lot stronger than it used to be.

I think part of the problem might be our officiating calling penalties to protect the offense. Let the kids play defense. Call the targeting, PI, etc. if it's obvious. Let the little stuff go.
