Not sure if it’s been mentioned but Disney is completely gutting its traditional advertising. Disney+ isn’t profitable and ESPN could be put up for sale. Disney also likely to sell their TV stations.
Is this relevant at all? No fucking clue. -
The app market might be flooded. Probably a shake out coming
The NFL chose Prime because Prime isn't going away -
How will we replace their 48-94 record since joining the conference? SDSU would be too goodchuck said:Come on boofs, get bouncin.

RE attendance. Penn State student tickets sell out in 20 mins. Hot tickets do exist.
It might be the only thing to do there, but still. -
I won't speak to Penn St, but the Michigan State fans were floored at the UW campus. I am not exaggerating that. They did not know campuses like this exist.whlinder said:RE attendance. Penn State student tickets sell out in 20 mins. Hot tickets do exist.

Flying to Seattle was a literal vacation for them. -
You clearly haven't been to Lansing, Michiganhaie said:

You'd be shocked at how much farmland there is in Michigan -
I think the bolded point above is fairly critical here ...rodmansrage said:the situation might be fluid update:
- warner bros discovery sports (tnt/tbs) might be at the table
- fox/espn might be back at the table
- cbs still sitting at the table
- $30mm per team
- pac 10 stays 10 (no idea what san diego state was trying to do a few weeks ago but ts an ps sent)
- keeps pac 10 together for 5-6 more years, it dies after that
- do think its close, announcement at p12 media days will be that, 'in august we'll announce...'

To me it's pretty clear that there's going to be a breakup of the ACC and PAC into the remaining 3 conferences ...
While the SEC doesn't care about what happens with the PAC per se since they aren't adding, they do care from the standpoint of as further consolidation occurs it's bad for the business to basically have a giant void of interest on the West Coast (outside of LA). The Big10 should have obvious interest in making sure that at least Washington and likely Oregon (Cal/Stanford TBD - this may give them a chance to shit or get off the pot) aren't taken out by the knees during this interim period such that they retain value going into the next big consolidation window. The Big12 also should care in that the health of the residuals and their desire to dominate in basketball is where it needs to be.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if there's already plenty of wink winks going on where people know what is going to happen on the next/final round of realignment but the timing/money isn't right in THIS economy ... -
What in the fucking tequilla does farmland have to do with beautiful campuses?Tequilla said:
