Not sure about rhino, but I know most African Elephant hunts the meat is given to local villagers. Feeds villages for weeks, and they love it. Again, won't say Rhino is the same, because I don't know, but certainly not ALL meat from these animals goes to waste.
People need to get educated on hunting and effective animal population control, and not just believe what Greenpeace and PETA shove up your ass. Are there issues with poaching, and could hunting possibly be regulated better in some places, of course...but this meat is murder shit is just stupid. -

There are valid reason where these animals can be hunted and it can be helpful to their long term survival. Think deeper.
