So let me get this straight - to support your made-up quip about the highest homicide rates being in countries where it is illegal to own guns you post a UNODC image showing homicide rates and then an AMMOLAND graphic citing "Small Arms Survey 2007"...d2d said:

You and CollegeDouche never could HANDLE THE TRUTH. The highest homicide rates are in countries where it is illegal for citizens to own guns.

Here comes the spin, in 3, 2, 1...
First you don't provide info about gun legality.
Second you ignore the whole point and just jump from insane people going on shooting rampages to overall homicides.
Third your gun information is from some completely random, clearly biased source.
Fourth you ignore the fact that we're trying to talk about developed countries here (as evidenced by the actual facts provided in the satire article I posted). It is sad that you try and compare America to Uganda and Colombia really tells me you have a skewed sense of who America's peers are. Why do you hate America?

I didn't know the homicide rates in Syria, Iraq and Egypt were less than 3 people per 100,000. Or is just that your maps don't include the martyrdom rates in the legend?d2d said:

The 2nd amendment is intended to give citizens a tool to defend themselves from enemies both foreign and domestic. Especially domestic. No gun control or any bullshit will keep what happened yesterday from happening. That kid was under the care of 2 mental health professionals, his parents told the cops he was nuts, the cops did fuck all. The doctors did fuck all. Now it's time for the incident to become the latest outrage of the day where we can say the politicians have to "do something" which will include rolling over and giving up rights that won't make a difference to solve this problem. As the cops become more militarized, the easiest way to violate our 4th amendment rights is to take away our 2nd amendment rights.
I don't even own a gun and I likely will never hunt for sport, but if I need a gun, a better god damn well better be able to get one. Fuck you, fuck me, fuck everyone. -

The First Amendment doesn't say anything about separation of Church and State. Here it is...
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
The Second Amendment is about tyranny, not hunting. Might I be defending myself against a "well regulated militia" (armed by the State) some day?
It's happened before, right after the King of England ordered civilians to surrender their weapons.
So much for Gun-Free-Zones. History is such a Muther Fucker.
