Well what's super chinteresting is that someone else said they saw on X that UW's budget will be a non-poor $15 million or more next year (did he say $17 mil?). Who knows if that's true but it sounds like they kept $3 to $4 million in reserve because it was limited pickins in the 2nd portal period.
Let's say it's $15 million and that would be about $9 million more than they spent in 2024 if Fisch was correct in saying they spent about $6 million this year. I'd guess $15 million would be in the top 20 of spenders next year and $17 million might be top 15.
The NIL thread going has the details.
PSU lost their starting RT and a rotational defensive tackle against Minnesota. They also have no WRs who can really separate and the best one got hurt in practice last week where he didn't play against Maryland. One of the safeties I believe is banged up too which is on top of the best safety who was lost for the season very early in the year. Anyway, everyone suffers injuries but I think the Ducks getting the late season bye will help immensely, while PSU is on something like 6 straight weeks of games now against B1G teams. Not sure if Oregon has any significant injuries now that Tez Johnson is back.
PSU's offense just kills me to watch. They should be able to run the ball against anyone with the two supposedly really good RBs and a good line, even with injuries, but it is always more of a struggle than it should be, and they can not hit explosive plays to WRs against good teams. The two RBs have not lived up to what they should be this year. Which is why the TE becomes the focal point of the offense.
ATBSJBS, PSU can win if they get a couple of breaks.
you keep all those cock suckers you just mentioned, and gayrian hatchet, and this team wins 10. The line would’ve been solid enough to overcome jedds fagotry in two games and then showed up against that team of all whites.
This season was a complete disappointment and the only thing we? have to look forward to is the off-season portal natty because whoregon just flipped another croot.
fuck the kids.
He certainly wasn't in a great spot with the lack of talent, personnel that seemed more tailored for the smaller spread out Pac-12 and terrible offense and special teams, but I saw nothing that would make me want to hire him anywhere else. Couldn't get pressure on anyone other than UCLA and that was supposed to be his signature thing.
Bellichick gets another year with the winter portal window to figure it out. Need 3 defensive lineman
NCAA needs to just pay every player minimum wage and do NIL by the book beyond that then tell the prima donnas to sit out if they don't like it. Make fancy locker rooms a recruiting pitch again
So if Fisch tells you to expect 7-5 next year you'll be fine because you "expected it". Yall broken yikes
“It’s the GOP’s fault my son is a criminal fuckup, so he’s innocent!”
Quite the legacy, Joe. Sounds a lot like “No reasonable prosecutor,” doesn’t it?
Only dipshits like those who frequent r/politics believed Joe when he said he wouldn’t pardon Hunter.
Kash is coming, you felons.
I don't think bad OLine coaches can suddenly develop guys differently one year though so I'm not sure how it will change
