That's fine and reasonable. Although once you open up "America First" to oil prices, you are signing up for a bit more activity in the ME than the gals seem to want. IDGAF myself. I grew up with the US involved in shit and was taught from a young age that the isolationists were pussies.
I'm also not sure what a "forever war" means, and I'm not sure anyone else is either. I think it's just a thing to say when the country is involved in something a person doesn't care about. Israel is our staunchest and by far most capable and culturally aligned ally in the ME, where we have interests (by your own admission). I care about keeping them in business. It's good for business.

I guess everyone decided to gloss over that "In Fall 2023, the total student enrollment on the Pullman campus was around 16,449" compared to "Texas State University's student body consists of over 40,000 students, with a majority being undergraduate students".
Texas State, especially when you consider their location in a recruiting state, is more justified than a bunch of the current teams that were let in without question. They aren't sitting around apathetic and butthurt about UT as a bonus.

I was on a business flight to Frankfurt earlier this year and the Liverpool FC U19 team was on it going to play some cup match. I sat next to the team doctor (nervous flyer - which is a strange vocation to choose…) and he said a couple guys are making 20,000 Pounds/Week. The looked like just boys, it was insane.

How did we ever survive before biden and the democrats let 11,000,000 illegals in over 4 years? We had plenty of fruits and vegetables. All democrat toilets were cleaned cheaply. Rat grass was cut and weeds were pulled.
Your argument is built on a false premise. We did just fine without the extra 11,000,000. Actually, the economy was worse with the extra 11,000,000.
