Re: Husky Jacks open thread [2025]
I think it’s more likely Jedd just feels zero connection to the program beyond his own personal gain. Why bother even pretending to put roots down if you don’t plan to be here more than a year or two? It’s a big reason I just find him hard to like. If the head couch isn’t bought in fully then why should any of the coaches or players be? It seems demotivating in addition to just being obviously bad form.
It is an odd choice though because Seattle is a pretty great place to live if you make $8M/year.

They also lost their top rated recruit, the DE from Arizona. When he followed DeBoer to Alabama he went from a 93 grade at UW to a 96 grade. LOL, recruiting rankings are so gay.

What's with all the de Laura love though? It's weird. Need to continue to show love to a convicted rapist?

Re: Husky Jacks open thread [2025]
Anybody watching America’s Team on Netflix? It’s really good. Jimmy Johnson ditched his wife right away cause he was married to THE DALLAS COWBOYS.

Sometimes a divorce is the best thing that can ever happen to you, Judd.

Re: Husky Jacks open thread [2025]
Doogman had a thread started about Fisch;s wife and girls moving back to Arizona and they locked it up 6 comments in.
psa Kim and Co. Not talking about it doesn't mean it didn't happen
Either you knew and didn't say anything even after Jedd's wife put it out on IG which is poor form Or,
You didn't know and would be major out or loop for having "the best sources" at UW after all these years.
Fisch was always NFL (not for long) here and this just speed that timeframe up as either
a) The Marriage is fine and you would assume he would move on to a place/climate his family would like to live in or
b) the marriage is not fine and he will have freedom to live and work anywhere in US and assumption in 18 months he's been in Seattle this isn't his "forever home"

Re: PGA WEEKLY REVIEW AND PREVIEW
I watched the highlights of the 2018 Tour championship last night and came away thinking that Tiger at a broken and battered 40 something was still the best player on the field
It started in Florida in 2018 when it became apparent that this comeback had legs (lol). He took the lead on the back nine Sunday at the Open only to double and give it away to Molanari. He battled Koepka at the PGA in an under rated classic.
Then he won the Tour Championship with Rory in the last group with him.
In the 2019 Masters it was Molanari and Koepka who backed down as Tiger got his 5th green jacket. He was still the best in the world
His driving would let him down. Oak tree you're in my way

Re: PGA WEEKLY REVIEW AND PREVIEW
There’s talk of Eastlake not being a permanent site for this thing and instead rotate like 6 or 7 major cities. That would be fantastic if true.

Re: PGA WEEKLY REVIEW AND PREVIEW
The points awarded are 750 for a major, 700 for a signature and mostly 500 for everything else.
WTF is that format? I must be missing something but uhhhh that's some lame point allocation for winning a major
