Re: Talk about winning
I’m 50 next year on the 4th of July and am glad my kids are adults and that I’m on the downhill side of a productive life with a great wife.

Re: Talk about winning
I mean there really isn't a basement for these retards. Child labor is GOOD.

Re: The Fisching Report Recruiting Thread Sponsored by The Fisch Bowl
I hope he goes to North Carolina. He doesn't want to come out to Seattle so may as well get the Judd/Cuck gifs and memes going again.

Re: Why DeBoer 'might have to win it all' to remain at Alabama
Bama never wasted time worrying about being fair or giving more time
Most coaches suck so you need to churn them out early and often until you find one that doesn't
Then you keep him

Re: Why DeBoer 'might have to win it all' to remain at Alabama
You’re right, Fishlips will get 4 years, just like Alabama tends to do, barring losing seasons in three consecutive years. The question is, will Chun pull the trigger after year four if 8-4 is the high water mark? I’d be willing to say yes. UW chose the deep water and can’t afford to tread in one place too long.

Re: Why DeBoer 'might have to win it all' to remain at Alabama
If Fisch wins 8 games this year and next year, he'll have zero additional pressure on him.

Re: Why DeBoer 'might have to win it all' to remain at Alabama
To be fair, I don't know what programs are good examples of ones that have more high end success no matter who the coach is better than Bama but I think it's just an example of like USC where everyone assumes any decent coach goes in there and should win national titles and it's not the case. And there's at least a half a dozen SEC schools who probably have better boosters and instate talent to just connect the dots with.

Re: Why DeBoer 'might have to win it all' to remain at Alabama
That's the biggest fear. I think he is better than sark though which is what you are basically describing. Either way it will be interesting.

Re: Why DeBoer 'might have to win it all' to remain at Alabama
@WoolleyDoog is correct. Bama usually gives losers 3-4 years to right the ship. These are the guys just before and just after title winning coaches over the last 70 or so years.
Harold Drew 8 years 54-28-7 (7-3-1 avg.)
Jennings Whitworth 3 years 4-24-2 (1-9)
Ray Perkins 4 years 32-15-1 (8-4)
Bill Curry 3 years 26-10 (9-3 and sanctions)
Mike DuBose 4 years 24-23 (6-6)
Mike Shula 4 years 10-23 (3-8)
Not great records unless you’re a HOF type coach. DeBoer, you’re on the clock.
Judd/Lambo needs to win 9 this year and playoffs next year or GTFO.
