Re: UK drops voting age from 18 to 16
Decision making and impulse control fully develop at 25. That should be the voting age everywhere. 16 is madness, I'll die on that hill.

Re: THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
Bryson has two majors but also has nine PGA Tour wins. Phil has six majors and his first one at 34 or so.
Lots of late bloomers in golf over the years that figure it out in their 30’s. It’s a unique part about golf from other sports. My opinion is that golf careers for the truly elite players are going to have far shorter peaks than in the past and the peaks are going to happen earlier. Too many young guys coming up that had Trackmans in their cribs and will be driving it 300 yards at age 13.

Re: Stephen Colbert just got SHITCANNED
My trusty local news station (the one that informed me the 2021 Atlanta All Star Game was cancelled due to Covid) implied that Trump suing Paramount/CBS is the reason the Late Show was cancelled.

Re: Last Movie Seen
Eddington
Cohen Brothers style story/movie is the only a way to describe this. Inspired by A Serious Man and Burn After Reading.
It hits on all the grifters and stupidity of the first 2-3 months of the pandemic, but the movie is ultimately comedy attempting to espouse what Ari Aster thinks goes through the mind of a conspiracy theorist.
It is a long movie and the first Act is boring and not well made. I also don't think anybody is really ready to relive the all the shitty situations with the masks and losers and tool bags.
A flip is finally switched in the story and the film is redeemed overall. The jokes that needed about 2 hours of set up do eventually pay off.
This won't be considered a cult classic like any of the Cohen brothers films, but there will probably be some scenes/jokes that be memed and a procured. Hard to talk about them without spoiling a long movie though.

They never weren't.
Ruling class is just importing more obedient subjects.

Re: Ohio State alum Garrett Wison to be paid $31 million a season
Love the sarcasm, but let’s make sure we properly record that the Jets are the NFL’s retarded team (strong case for a day late, a few million dollars more Jerry Jones Cowboys) now that the Lions are a functional franchise.
