I actually think the players are developed pretty well by this staff. I don’t think it will be a Sark situation where the players don’t get better as they get older. If Walters stays, the defense will be very salty soon. Judds shitty offense will benefit from lineman like Greene, Mills, Tualala and Paki growing into a big, athletic unit together. Whoever the QB is in the future should get more time for those stupid slow developing routes to come open and the RB’s should get 100 yards on their robust 15 carries. Fish isn’t a Natty guy but I could see a roster talented enough to make the playoffs semi regularly despite the offense if the recruiting can stay at this level.

The QB can throw the ball. Big overreaction by the board because a young QB played bad against a top 10 defense. When he’s tearing it up the next two years, it will be, “but he did suck when he was a sophomore.” He’s a good player already and he will get better.
If Demond transferred, a lot of big schools would line up to get him.

I mean, other than the UCLA game, which honestly it would seem you would have to try to lose to them, they've been in their games. Disappointing, yes, but they haven't been blown out by anyone except Buck and played Indiana pretty tough. That is not a roster problem.

RE: The best UW recruiting class ever stuff, I think the TBS system is way more fucked out than it used to be and probably isn't accurate and the late-UW classes under Peterlips were criminally underrated because they weren't playing said game much. A lot of Pete classes there were 4* guys UW could have taken to juice the class ranking but they knew they were overrated and they didn't take guys just to take them. I think the 2001 Neuheisel class was stacked (#1/2 WRs nationally) but things weren't catalogued well back then.

Washington literally is ranked ahead of them in the all time program rankings, and played for the title two years ago.
The last time Iowa made an NY6 bowl Stanford beat them by 50.
