Where the Big 10 sees Washington in the pecking order

While I see the logic of your comment, I also remember national media pundits exclaiming "How could Washington fire Jim Lambright when he beat Miami and had a 44-25-1 record?"
But those of us following the program closely could name a dozen reasons.
And I say this while acknowledging that Lambo was always good to me and accommodating, which I appreciated. But the truth is the truth.

We(?) are just going to start calling you Arizona 123. Capice?

The DAWGS stole the Colorado coach and had a plan A that worked
Penn State appears to have gone down the alphabet whifffing, and are now on plan AA
-
You could argue that the Plan A worked (We won a Rose Bowl) or that it was a failure (Neuhiesel at the time of his firing had us on an alarming downward trajectory).

I didn't watch Penn State's games against cupcakes but the media was saying they looked shitty in their first few games. Allar was an all time overrated QB.
-
Both are true. They have a talented roster and could have had a good season but the offense was broken.

5-3 and lost to UCLgAy
What's the big deal?

Just referring to the hiring of the preferred candidate

I mean, other than the UCLA game, which honestly it would seem you would have to try to lose to them, they've been in their games. Disappointing, yes, but they haven't been blown out by anyone except Buck and played Indiana pretty tough. That is not a roster problem.
