Kirk was actually friendly and always seemed to genuinely want to reach out and foster mutual understanding. I also never saw Kirk demean anyone or try to make a side show or spectacle of anyone he was eviscerating intellectually. You show up to a Shapiro debate half-cocked and he bends you over and goes in dry and tells you to like it. Dude has no patience for stupid people and openly exposes their lack of reasoning for everyone to see, whereas Kirk's style was much gentler. Just my opinion. Anyone who bothered to watch Kirk and who didn't have an agenda would, again IMO, have to agree that he was actually not a tool when doing his thing and was always fairly polite. It was always with him just a factual matter that he disagreed with the left. I never saw him make it personal, but holy shit did he get it blown back at him personally all the time. Always kept his cool and never took the low road.
