I don't think the Federal government would have escalated unless they had a very good reason. That reason seems to be that the FBI and ICE were raiding money laundering by cartels in LA using business fronts and some of the people doing the laundering are illegal immigrants. This is very serious and if there is racketeering (RICO) involved, it is escalated even more. It is also easier for ICE to nab criminals on immigration charges and then buy the FBI time to put together a stronger case because the cartels have $1000 an hour criminal defense attorneys on speed dial.
What then likely happened is that brain-dead leftists got wind of the raids and assumed it was simply for illegal immigrants so they rioted to prevent the FBI and ICE from doing their jobs. Obstructing the Feds from going after very serious Federal crimes is FS and it sounds like then Bass / Newsom were very slow to let municipal / State law enforcement quell the riots because they thought they could score political points (orange man bad).
All of the above is what I have been piecing together from various sources so it is not 110% fact proven in a court of law (at least yet). But Bass is a globalist / socialist and Newsom's political instincts are awful outside of government union run California so it makes sense.
I thought when they got the ball back up by 11 in the third then came 15 minutes of nightmare fuel.
Can they fire whoever came up with World of Witchcraft Night?
Wilner sure is trying to “demonstrate value” for himself as the pope of the non-existent pac.
Bucky whataboutism always wrong. You don't see riots in red states so you don't hear about it. Red states want to assist. We want all 50 states and it's going to happen so cry more

no red state has ever had an illegal, ever. They’d trade @Sledog for one decent one, though
Ice has had raids in all states... red states agree with it, so don't go batshit.
