Best Of
Re: What have been the best and worst investments of your adult life?
Worst investment: Been in 20 weddings over my life. Best man in 10 of them. I blew enough on bachelor parties to put a kid through two years of college at UGA or GA Tech. I keep in touch with only about 6 of the grooms.
Best investment: Real estate. Bought my mother a house for 84K some years ago. Sold it last year for almost 700K. Not the best return but a great savings plan. We have owned 8 homes and made money on all of them.
Second Best: Invested in a company called Machismo Mouse a 100 years ago. $1500 turned into $15,000 in two days. Pulled my money out and promptly got a call a year later from the SEC investigating me and several others of insider trading. I hadn't and it went nowhere.
Second worst: Loaned an old girlfriend $2,200 bucks for stripper tits. Motor boated those things for about 6 months before she started banging her ski instructor at Snoqualmie Summit and never paid me back. I think she is on husband #4 so I dodged a bullet there. I am sure those tits have been a landing spot for many a guy.

Re: What have been the best and worst investments of your adult life?
Worst- "loaning" money to acquaintances for business upgrades. That money won't ever come back
Best- Giving my mother-in-law the down payment for her condo after she got out of an abusive relationship with her second husband. Built in baby-sitter three miles from the house, Sunday dinner for nearly 15 years.
When she passed, she gifted it to our daughter who will graduate with no debt and will have a paid off 2/2 condo as she begins her career.

Re: Who's Next?!?!?!
I’d say Locker. Rebounded a dormant program to a mid tier bowl game and was drafted 8th overall. In no way shape or form should Locker or Sanders be retired. There should probably be a moratorium on retiring anyone’s number at CU until Deion Figures is immortalized. That dude won big, won every post season award for his position, first team AA and was a first round draft choice. If he’s not in the rafters no one should be. I could give a pass to Hunter, he was truly amazing last year. The dude can smoke weed and talk shit at CU forever.

Re: Don Bacon
I think Bacon's take is pretty fair quite honestly. I am a fan of Hegseth the warfighter, but so far not a fan of Hegseth the administrator. These are unforced errors and rookie level shit. I like the fighting spirit, but color me unimpressed with the attention to detail and basic sanitization of sensitive chat. I retired higher ranked than Hegseth, and I would have been courtmartialed, and rightly so, for shit like this. He needs to clean it up quick or you can put me on the can him and find another warfighter who can keep his shit wired tight. Believe me when I say we expect and demand better judgement out of fresh out of college 1st LTs than he has demonstrated recently. There are plenty of great young warfighters out there who want DEI gone and the mission to be about lethality and power projection, and who can also do the little things right. My 2 coppers.

Re: Gary?
I saw a former Dawgman/Hardcore Husky/ Discord channel "insider" is tweeting at the guy that he "picked the wrong sport". Smart move

Re: Brock Huard’s UW Huskies spring football practice takeaways
I'm doogin' a bit over Demond.
Just sayin'

Re: Jedd should have been forced to drink 8+ of these..
With all due respect, Judd should have drank bleach after the Sun Bowl.
