Someone help the poor please! Did he get his Stanford app in yet? Is he still planning a Dec commit?
He got his app in but scheduled his commitment announcement before he got close to finishing his app which makes me kind of interested. But from the start all I’ve heard is that’s he’s going to Stanford with Washington & Oregon right behind & catching his eye but never really fully invested into them. I’ve heard he’s kind of an aloof kid who was to himself at his first two schools before transferring to Bosco. While he has a real quiet OKG reputation, it seems like he was picky about his first two high schools and hasn’t fit in the best at Bosco despite balling out.
But this article isn’t about his recruiting, it’s actually a highlight of how bad USC’s recruiting philosophy is. He said that they know he’s signing in December so they decided to try to finally advance their relationship to a personal level which means more than mail, email, texts. Then they asked him about what they said in their first meeting in a long time or about they’re plan with him and he said “they told me we’re just trying to get to know you because you know we need DB’s and didn’t really mention playing time outside of ‘well you’ve seen our DB’s we could use some help’”
JFC Clay we’re trying to keep your job more than you are.

Good ole “you can see how shitting we are, help us” approach. Been using that one on the ladies for a long time.LaMichael_Corleone said:Domicillo said:

Strong on the UW likes on Twitter recently. As of a couple of weeks ago, he wants to commit in the beginning of December and sign during the early period.

Good shit Claws. He can't get rejected from Stanford if he nevers send in his application...HuskyClaws said:Strong on the UW likes on Twitter recently. As of a couple of weeks ago, he wants to commit in the beginning of December and sign during the early period.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I still find it strange that UW is the only OV he's been on but he paid out of pocket to visit both Stanford and Oregon. Not sure if that's good or bad for us.
-
I may be a doog but I think that's good for us. An unofficial visit is secluded to the campus of the school being visited whereas an official visit allows the coaches to take him and his parents out to dinner off campus and for him to see the surrounding area and what not. More personal time for the coaches with him and his family. Suggests to me he's more interested in getting to know the UW coaching staff than the others. To play devil's advocate, if a player has the choice of taking an official (free) trip vs an unofficial (paid) why would they opt for the unofficial? Just seems strange. I'm assuming he will take an OV to one or both of those schools over the next several weekends. If he doesn't then I like our chances.StrongArmCobra said:

The word on the street is that Jimmy lake is damaged goods, teq said it so don’t twist
-
He’s super UW heavy on twitter. Great sign.
-
Just got a CB to UW from some South Carolina Insider who's only 64% accurate all time. Same dude put in a bunch of CB's for random West Coast guys including Wright to ASU
-
So did Oregon cool on him to @Mosster47 ?
-
In 2016, Byron Murphy was headed to ASU. Jimmy Lake had other plans.backthepack said:He’s super UW heavy on twitter. Great sign.
In 2017, Elijah Molden was headed to Stanford or Oregon. Jimmy Lake had other plans.
In 2018, Kyler Gordon was headed to ND and Julius Irvin was headed to SC or ND. Jimmy Lake had other plans.
I wouldn't bet against Jimmy on this one. -
In 2019, Asa Turner was headed to ND and Cam Williams was committed to Oregon. Jimmy Lake had other plans. #myJimmybananasnblondes said:

I guess some guy from the Cocks website (south carolina) put in a CB of McDuffie to UW. It appears that he is a retard though

@GOAT already told us all thisbananasnblondes said:I guess some guy from the Cocks website (south carolina) put in a CB of McDuffie to UW. It appears that he is a retard though

Just have a minute, but wanted to let you guys know UW got a crystal ball from a guy from South Carolina.
-
So after reading this thread I did a little internet sleuthing and it appears one of the South Carolina TBSers put in a crystal ball to UW for this kid. FYI
-
South Carolina ... Do they have good bbq there?
-
I hate all of you
-
If McDuffie commits we'll end up with 3 DBs from the 2016 Servite Roster. (Taylor, Irvin)
-
SC CB to UW
-
And if Lubick gets his shit together, a receiver from that team.FKA_Mousecop said:If McDuffie commits we'll end up with 3 DBs from the 2016 Servite Roster. (Taylor, Irvin)
I DONT KNOW IF YOU GUYS HAVE SEEN JAKES STATS DROP SINCE HAVING GOOD RECEIVERS BUT IF YOU HAVENT YOUD SEE WE MIGHT FUCKING NEED ONE OF THOSE RECEIVER THINGS OTHER TEAMS HAVE. -
Sorry I let my trigger get the best of me.
-
To make up for it.... some guy in SC CB’d him to UDUB

not sure if it's out there but JC Shurburtt (SC Insider) CB'd McDuffie to UW.
-
Not that it means anything but Stanford already has 3 DB's committed. They have a kid listed under athlete that is has DB measurables as well.
-
Hahahahahahah this is awesome. I’ve felt that way since Reggie left. John Ross, marcel Reece, @SonnyShackelford , Craig Chambers all of them just made me crave the drug of wanting another reggie that much more. The closest thing to Reggie that we’ve had a chance at, was ngata......Domicillo said:LaMichael_Corleone said:

Just give me some more crack please. Fast.

Knew he was a legit athlete but never even bothered watching his tape because I assumed he would never come here. Fuck me.
Probably reminds me more of Sid than anyone else, but with an extra gear. Jimmy please. Dear God, please.
