This was against a really bad Roosevelt defense. They beat Roosevelt a week ago, then were beat last night in a play in game.Domicillo said: -

His latest highlight is a thing of beauty. A lot more film of him running between the tackles and he definitely shows that innate feel/timing/body positioning that good backs have.

First, this kid is not ever going to be a BallzBigBack. His exaggerated high school bio lists 5'11", 185, and he looks like he doesn't have an ounce of fat on him. His ceiling for size is more Bishop Sankey than Corey Dillon.
Secondly, offer him anyway. Right now. I would argue that this would be one of the more important commits in the class. On a surface level, the kid can just flat out play, to an extent that transcends "level of competition" excuses and whatnot. Beyond that, though, this kid is a "building a bridge to the '20 and '21 in-state classes" starter kit. If even half of that ST article is true, he's so OKG that OKG might have to be redefined if he's not offered. The effort play at 5:40 in the above hudl alone is worth a Petersen scholarship offer.
The message would be clear: "We mean what we say. 'OKG' isn't just a catch phrase. Whatever your 7-on-7 coach is telling you, we don't care where you live, where you stand on the socioeconomic ladder, how many parents you have, or whether you attend an expensive private school. Be an amazing football player (first and foremost), act like you give a shit about school and your future, don't be an entitled bitch, and--maybe most importantly--be patient if you're in-state, and you'll get an offer from UW." -
I don't care if you gotta run somebody, pull somebody's offer, greyshirt somebody, whatever, just get this kid here.
