    How many colored are there?

To give a serious response to a shit question, the current racial breakdown of the commits looks like this:

    African American: 3
    Cockasian: 3
    Pacific Islander: 5
    Asian American: 1
    Spam Chancellor: 1

Bandes will put Latin American on the bored with 1.

This class is like the United Nations of OKGs.

How many of the 3 AA are mixed? And how many from 2 parent homes?

My guesses for what is left after Bandes:

    Buelow
    Vimahi
    Heimuli
    Wright
    Latu
    Chase

I'm feeling good about the top 3. I wanted to put Tuitele, but I am trying not to doog. Last two are my wildcards. Ruth is being coy about someone, he is visiting on 12/15, and we always pull a wild card out late. Also considered Foskey, but we don't really need a TE. I think we take Chase late when we miss on McDuffie and Wright.

Sleepers would be Quentin Moore or a RB not on our radar who has a great senior year and blows up.

So I know I did one of these back in like February but I can't find it so we'll start from scratch. I really don't know how many schollies we're going to have available so I'm just going to use last year's 21 as a starting place. Obviously more or less kids could make a big impact on the accuracy of this projection. Kids in bold are kids I'm projecting to be added to the class.

    QB
    Current Commits: Morris
    Projected signee total: 1
    What's left: DONE

    RB
    Current Commits: Cameron Davis
    Projected signee total: 1
What's left: No idea who we end up with here, I just can't imagine us only signing one given the makeup of the roster and the depth of the RB class. I could see us settling for Taron Madison maybe? You know what, let's say we're just getting one.

    WR
    Current Commits: Taj Davis
    Projected signee total: 2
What's left: Joe Ngata. Probably just signing one if we don't get him. Coin flip between us and Clemson at this point. I believe in Lubick. The rare out of state recruit where I think the longer he waits to commit the better that bodes for us.

    OL
Current Commits: Kalepo the GOAT, Corey Luciano (JUCO)
    Projected signee total: 4
What's left: Julius Buelow, Troy Fautanu, Bailey Elder (not offered)
Analysis: Fautanu is underrated and might be easier to close than he should be. Buelow's not but I like our chances anyway. Ultimately I'm guessing we cap the class there though I'd love to see them go 5 and add Elder. There are a few other guys out there we could pull if need be (Barrett Miller) but I think this will be it.

    TE
    Current Commits: none
    Projected signee total: 1
What's left: Isaiah Foskey, Jude Wolfe, some lesser rated WTEs that we'll end up signing one of and sending to the NFL. Foskey would be chincredible.

    DL
Current Commits: Sama Paama, Noa Ngalu
    Projected signee total: 4
What's left: Faatui Tutele, Jacob Bandes, Apu Ika, Stephon Wright
Analysis: Could see us taking any two of the above four and would be thrilled with any combo. Tutele is the big prize and I think we have a real shot but until we start signing out of state 5 stars I'm going to expect us to miss on them. But man I want that kid.

    OLB
    Current Commits: Alphonzo Tuputala
    Projected signee total: 2
What's left: Bralen Trice, Treven Ma'ae, Colt Ellison (lol), Drake Jackson
Analysis: Trice is the guy we seem to want the least, so yeah.

    ILB
    Current Commits: Miki Ah You
    Projected signee total: 2
What's left: Daniel Heimuli, Maninoa Tufono
Analysis: Love to get them both, don't see how they all fit.

    DB
    Current Commits: Kamren Fabiculanan
    Projected signee total: 4
What's left: Darien Chase, Cameron Williams, Spam Chancellor, Trent McDuffie
Analysis: I'd gladly take any 3 of the above 4, McDuffie seems least likely.

    Specialists
    Current Commits: 0
    Projected signee total: 1
    What's left: Timothy Horn (K)

This puts us at 22, and doesn't include Jordan Lolohea who I'd like to still add. Scholarship limitations are a bitch.

Spam Chancellor (IEAWSHJC) and Timothy Horn in the boat.

    2-2 so far.

    #JustHereToBeatMyChest
    Add C-Willy. 3-3.
With Ngata off the bored (for now?) I'm down to 3 for 4.

Currently by 247 we 7 four stars and 6 three stars (4 and 9 by composite). If the rest of my projected class were to come in that would have us taking 8 more for a class of 21. Of those 8 I only have 7 named (I projected us taking a TE but didn't guess which one). Of those 7, only Heimul has a discrepancy between 247 and composite, with him a 3 star on 247 but 4 on composite. Together they would add 4 4 stars by 247 (5 if the TE is a 4 star) and 5 4 stars by composite.

This would put our class at 11 247 four stars and 9 composite 4 stars, with a TE potentially making that 12 and 10, and if Ah You gets his rumored 247 bump that would put it at 12 or 13 247 four stars and 9 or 10 composite.

Interestingly Tufono is also a 3 by 247 but 4 by composite, so swapping him and Heimuli doesn't affect the totals.

Also interestingly Tuitele is down to a 4 star by both composite and 247 so swapping he or Ika in for either of the DL doesn't affect anything number wise either.

The biggest wild cards left seem to be:

Will we take a TE? If so, who?

Will we take another WR (please no unless it's Joe)? This would seem to almost certainly be a 3 star if they did.

How many more DL, OL and LB do we take?

But even with those wild card I think it's safe to expect a range of 11 to 13 247 4 stars and 8 to 10 composite 4 stars.
    Bandes Fupdate:

    8 247 4 stars/6 247 3 stars (5 and 9 by composite).

Bandes is up to 28 overall on 247 and is currently our best shot at getting a 5th star. They always give their final top 32 5 stars, fwiw.

I am hard at the prospect of this. If we pull McCoy out of our asses (we won't) I am going full doog.

Of course we're going 9-4 anyway so it won't matter, but whatever.

This is cool. But, why don't we all just agree to scrap this composite bullshit? ESPN is terrible and distorts the rankings too much. Just list the 247 scores, and while not perfect, it is better than including the faggots at ESPN who fuck it all up completely.

    HRYK

We don't give a shit about composite. If anything, include the HH rankings. Kalepo as a 200 Star makes this the most talented rosters in the nation coming in.

First off, Helton is getting unfairly criticized. How can you expect to win with a QB that should be a Sr in high school? If he is winning less than 6 games when JT is a Jr then might, maybe, but people are being completely unfair to that guy. Completely unfair.

But if they do to something stupid and fire him, how many of the Duck's commits become fair game? With a good coach (or at least a good recruiter) I can picture them poaching at least 4 or 5 of those guys to cobble together a last-minute recruiting class.

Usc would have to fire him pretty damn quick then, right? Early signing period and all.

Tsio addressed this concept a few pods back iirc. .

    UW will finish with:

    Daniel Heimuli: UW lean

    Faatui Tuitele: UW lean

    Stephon Wright: UW lean IMO

Isaiah Foskey: UW vs Notre Dame, Notre Dame has yet to beat us for a guy so why should I think this time will be different?

Sean Rhyan: USC's O-line is trash. They're one of the worst rushing teams in the country. If Helton isn't fired, their O-line coach definitely will be. Where else is he going to go if O-line player development at USC sucks? Huff is probably the coolest O-line coach recruiting him and probably has the best relationship with him.

Bru McCoy: USC coaching sucks, he and his dad love UW and Coach Pete.

Kyle Ford: USC coaching sucks. He has a bunch of homies on the team at UW already. Would fit right in and knows he'll get developed here.

and maybe Drew Fowler or the 3* BTE who hasn't been offered yet if they have room.

    Doog it Up!

Obk level delusional, but if happens I will donate $129 to have obk banned for a week
Not delusional this time around. If you were one of these elite recruits would you go to USC over UW right now? You'd have to be stupid as fuck right? Their current coaching staff is trash so if you're going to USC you're either going to have a shit coaching staff that can't develop players and can't game plan or a new coaching staff that you didn't sign up for that might also turn out to be shit. UW is in prime position to be a safety net for these elite recruits that would traditionally go to SC but won't because of the instability there.
