This was against a really bad Roosevelt defense. They beat Roosevelt a week ago, then were beat last night in a play in game.Domicillo said: -

His latest highlight is a thing of beauty. A lot more film of him running between the tackles and he definitely shows that innate feel/timing/body positioning that good backs have.

First, this kid is not ever going to be a BallzBigBack. His exaggerated high school bio lists 5'11", 185, and he looks like he doesn't have an ounce of fat on him. His ceiling for size is more Bishop Sankey than Corey Dillon.
Secondly, offer him anyway. Right now. I would argue that this would be one of the more important commits in the class. On a surface level, the kid can just flat out play, to an extent that transcends "level of competition" excuses and whatnot. Beyond that, though, this kid is a "building a bridge to the '20 and '21 in-state classes" starter kit. If even half of that ST article is true, he's so OKG that OKG might have to be redefined if he's not offered. The effort play at 5:40 in the above hudl alone is worth a Petersen scholarship offer.
The message would be clear: "We mean what we say. 'OKG' isn't just a catch phrase. Whatever your 7-on-7 coach is telling you, we don't care where you live, where you stand on the socioeconomic ladder, how many parents you have, or whether you attend an expensive private school. Be an amazing football player (first and foremost), act like you give a shit about school and your future, don't be an entitled bitch, and--maybe most importantly--be patient if you're in-state, and you'll get an offer from UW." -
I don't care if you gotta run somebody, pull somebody's offer, greyshirt somebody, whatever, just get this kid here.

So they like this kid as a safety. They brought him up for an unofficial visit recently to see a game. He has baller ass Senior season highlights that are 15 minutes long. He's clearly talented, hungry, and plays like a Dawg.
Meanwhile, Cameron Williams has posted zero Senior season highlights. Possibly because he was no longer hungry after committing to UW and slacked off his Senior season? He recently attended an SC game for the second time this season. He's still listening to SC coaches. Coach Pete don't play that shit.
Are you thinking what I'm thinking? -
You over-doog it sometimes but I don’t think you’re wrong here.StrongArmCobra said:So they like this kid as a safety. They brought him up for an unofficial visit recently to see a game. Dontae McMillan is clearly the better athlete with the higher ceiling, just more raw right now. Williams has amazing ball skills but is no where near as quick.
This is one of those situations where we could level up if we take the elite athlete over the more developed kid.
But if we whiff on McDuffie then why not take both -
He’s really good. I wish McMillen was being recruited as a RB.
-
Regardless recruit him in general ... figure it out from where to place him after he gets on campus
-
Stage Direction: Dontae slowly peeks his head into Coach Pete's doorway while knocking. Coach Pete looks up from the newspaper he has open across his large wooden desk.
Dontae: I heard you guys were looking for a safety. -
He won’t have to pay a dime given his circumstances. It’s called Husky Promise and it ensures low-income students have access to higher ed. I was a HP and paid $0 for undergrad. The boosters will take care of the rest.Domicillo said:
Not exactly the kind of kid who can necessarily afford to walk-on. It’s a shame cause he’s exactly the type of kid who’d benefit a lot from a local program as good as Pete’s.dougthedawg said:Pwo all day

I hope Turner just gets this over with soon so we can move on directly to this kid if needed. Everyone on here smarter than me thinks he's pretty good. Let's go. DO this shit!
-
Just realized he's from Chief Sealth! What the fuck are we waiting for?!?!?!?!? SIGN HIM NOW or @SpiritHorse will be angry...
-
Turner or no Turner I think we should pull the trigger.

please offer this man.... myles gaskin esque

Is he as good as Isaiah Gilchrist?Dennis_DeYoung said:
I like him at S maybe a little more, but I see him as a guy with a chance to be a really good RB.HillsboroDuck said:
You like him at safety or RB?Dennis_DeYoung said:Coker just approved. KB followed him. Which is amazing because now that KB is done with recruiting he only follows light skinned honeys.
Offer him. Let's get him in the boat. Kid is fucking good.
I agree with @ToddTurnerLIVES that toss sweeps worry me, but what I like is that when he's in traffic and not 'thinking' he has the subtle body positioning things he does that are quick twitch that get defenders off balance and he has the quick twitch to blow by them.
He reminds me of Boobie Williams.
Also: I think given that we missed on Charbs, fuck it, take this guy. Play him at RB... if it doesn't work out, move to DB. He's not fucking Jomon Dotson. He knows how to play football. -
He would have if we dropped him.WeakarmCobra said:

I've wanted McMillian really bad since I first saw him. It just has the makings of an awesome story.
While I know I'm wrong for this, Im turned off by Turner's indecision at this point. If you can't see the hundred reasons why we are better than ND then I feel sad, knowing there's a guy in our backyard dying to be a Dawg who has all the potential you can ask for.
Always been a huge sucker for local guys I have to admit. Except Heaps, never wanted that queef or his family around the program. Harrison kinda ended up bein a fag as well. Anyway that's all I got -
If Harrison was a fag then its no wonder I wanted him to be a part of the Dwags so bad.
-
Didn't that shitpiece Neal just leave? Can't we offer this kid now no matter what Turner does?
-
Have we offered yet? No? Well fuck us then. Get this kid in the boat for fucks sake. Local kid who plays mean and has position flexibility at two positions of need.
-
We'll finish with Heimuli and Patterson. So I am perfectly happy with McMillan considering we aren't getting Ford or Nacua. Oregon dicked us in WR recruiting at the end of this cycle. Ford and Nacua should both have been Dawgs.ToddTurnerLIVES said:Have we offered yet? No? Well fuck us then. Get this kid in the boat for fucks sake.
