This should be a libertarians wet dream. These companies have chosen to censor their members and content providers for having ideas outside the mainstream. Surely the free market, which is obviously the best and only regulator we need, will punish companies for this. I mean Peterson called it a “catastrophe” in that video. He makes an excellent point from a business practice standpoint regarding Youtube taking on the role of content policing.
I disagree with him on making them a public utility of some kind. -

Lots of the things that are happening in the universities that aren’t good are already leaking out into the broader social world. Part of what is going to happen is that people are going to stop coming and speaking on campuses. The comedians in the United States, many of them already won’t come and do their shows on campus, because everybody is so sensitive to offence.
