How exactly would your stateless utopia function in reality. No state, no military, no country. Putin and Xi would really like that.

You're the resident tome of economics history and scholarship. But I'm not sure you consider all of the possible outcomes if the philosophies you follow were into practice. For example, what level of social unrest would be caused by an open borders policy, and how would it be contained? If the people in a libertarian country voted in a communist government, what would happen then? It doesn't seem to have the answers to those kinds of questions. Libertarianism doesn't seem capable of defending its own existence in certain situations.MikeDamone said:

Trump says he’ll shut the whole wasteful, inefficient enterprise down by September 1. I support this proposal emphatically. I think we can all agree: Shut down the federal government asap and never ever re-open it again. Great idea sledog.Sledog said:

It's really naive to think there wouldn't be. America is like Bama. Everyone wants to be them. Every football player wants to play for them. Even after Saban retires and they become a shitty team again, the residual after effects of their success will still lure many to Tuscaloosa despite the fact that they are no longer what they once were. Same with America. People will come even if there is no opportunity left because of the HYPE they've heard their whole lives, that America is the land of opportunity, the greatest nation on Earth. And because its better than the shithole they live in.MikeDamone said:

You're also not taking into consideration the unrest that would be caused by massive immigration from cultures that are not compatible with Western values, like those in the Middle East. We don't want more Islam, we want less Islam. We don't want more Mexicans, we want less Mexicans. Pole the cuntry and I think you would find 80% approval for less, not more immigration. -

Slippery slope is your logical fallacy. Competing for wages on the open market benefits everyone. Anyone is able to compete in the labor market. Millennial socialists included.oregonblitzkrieg said:
Illegals displace American workers, drive down wages and with enough of them, will be the cause of widespread social chaos when millions are out of work, making it easy for extremist ideologies to make serious inroads in America. They admit as much on their website, they're basically waiting for an economic crisis to push their agenda further and gain new followers. We don't need illegals. Fuck them. We can put our own useless millennial socialists to work picking beans in the field. They can get a taste of what its like to really be a part of the proletariat. It's what they want. Everyone wins.MikeDamone said:
No, I just agree with the factual economics. Cheaper labor benefits everyone. Illegal is more beneficial than legal.oregonblitzkrieg said:

Keeping labor costs down by letting illiterate Mexicans come in is a huge plus. Just as there should be no minimum wage. The skills and supply of labor dictate the price and the government shouldn’t interfere. That’s why Chavez hated illegals. They fucked up his labor cartel.CirrhosisDawg said:

It’s funny leftists want to drive down wages and conservatives want government to stymie the free market. It’s like it’s Opposite Day.
Hiring desperate people with fake Social security numbers at 55 cents on the dollar isn’t how the free market is supposed to work. We aren’t in 1930 anymore. -
I just want the shit to be over. I want the free market to operate as it should. If that takes putting poppa on the books, I’m all for that. Once you make illegals tax payers, then things even out a bit. In Salemcoogs plan, Amnesty has a triple edge sword. Along with all the new citizens, it comes with stricter entry criteria and fast track deportation for those that aren’t allowed. It also comes with yuge fines for companies that hire illegals that are actually enforced.oregonblitzkrieg said:

Badliver dawg and others will come back with inflation and economic slowdown. I don’t buy it though. It would be a tide that would float many more boats than it would sink.
Millions of Americans have been hurt by cheap illegal labor. All for the benefit of a few thousand greedy business owners. And Liberal retards and now for some reason Damone, think that is how our free market is supposed to work.
It isn’t.
If we do something now, we can make a lot more people better off.
If we put that wall money towards making this happen, it would be a much better investment imo.
