WTF do they care? They already live in a state in which their basic needs are provided.
Their parent's basement.

"This year’s centennial anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution has caused many to reflect on communism’s place in our collective memory. It has been a full century since Vladimir Lenin’s Bolsheviks seized power in Petrograd and communism made its bloody debut on the world stage. Authors, activists, and politicians alike are asking the question: what has America learned from one hundred years of communism?
The answer? Apparently, not much."
This is a straw man argument by the way. -

Half of these retards didn't know who Mao Zedong was when polled. Now more than ever, teach your little shits the value of the American way of life and give them a basic understanding of world history, or GTFO. You and them.

The rich were effectively taxed at what, 75%, 80% 50 years ago? That's closer to socialism. We didn't have 20 trillion in debt then either. Millennials are fags but they have a point when they're saddled with $80,000 of student debt and see the American dream isn't close to what it was

Millennial don't have the baggage you do when it comes to capitalism/socialism/communism. You bought into the government propaganda of capitalism = good, socialism and communism = evil. When they're really they're just economic systems. There is no good or evil.
Human beings when presented with an argument that they disagree with will fall to the other extreme if the side they disagree with is unwilling to budge. Capitalism is the best economic system anyone has come up with but it's not perfect. Where and when it fails we should be willing to use other methods. Instead you cling desperately to capitalism. Pushing millennials to the other side. -
They sound like they'll love the new work requirements to receive Medicaid in Kentucky

"Communism isn't evil." Tell that to the victims. Joseph Stalin killed millions. Mao Zedong killed millions. Pol Pot killed millions. Kim Jong IL killed millions. But there is no good and evil according to you. Cool. Explain these guys and Hitler then.allpurpleallgold said:Millennial don't have the baggage you do when it comes to capitalism/socialism/communism. As someone who is currently in school, millenials are not taught that communism the ideal is evil, simply that evil people used it as a position of power to do harm because they wished.oregonblitzkrieg said:

Communism is a system that goes against basic human nature. It requires the absolute rule of a tyrant to prop up it up. There's a reason why every communist leader is a piece of shit mass murderer. Name one who wasn't. It can safely be discarded as an evil ideology because it requires evil people in leadership positions to keep it going.jhfstyle24 said:

If someone supports communism, they should be deported to Venezuela to get a first hand look at exactly what it is and how it works.doogie said:Tell them to rent Killing Fields

Wow. The naivete is stunning. Communism is absolutely diametrically opposed to liberty, you schmuck. You know that "live free or die" idea that America was built upon? To say it's just an "economic system" is to deny the underlying motivations and theories upon which communism is built, such as the rich being evil and the working class the true nobles. Not the talented, the educated, the successful. No. Not those guys. Only the suffering, pathetic, and doomed could be heroes in Marx's world. The system is built upon hatred of others more successful than you, to the point of removing them from society if they do not swear off their riches, ideologies and independent thoughts in favor of the masses. Fuck. That. Shit.allpurpleallgold said:Millennial don't have the baggage you do when it comes to capitalism/socialism/communism. Capitalism will eat itself if not properly taxed or regulated. That's what's happening today and why some bankers really do deserve to die. No geno, but perhaps by accident, like a sunken yacht. Certain socialist ideas like single payer would dovetail nicely with capitalism, since large insurance companies act like government bureaucracies already, and have most politicians in their pockets anyway. But again, to have the 20th Century as Exhibit A of the evils of communism, group think, conform or be cast out - to Siberia or worse, and to argue from that that the system itself is not evil or doesn't breed evil. Wow. Did you read anything when you took history in College, APAG? Fuck. -
