Here's my recipe for success:
Run first all the time. Pass once their defenders step up instinctively. Then run some more to tire them out. Then start doing trick play bullshit once they are physically and mentally exhausted.
Use whatever schemes or whatever you need to accomplish this.

Guys off the Briles coaching tree are killing it (or raping it, more likely) in this analysis. Kendall Briles is OC at Florida Atlantic, Sterlin Gilbert is OC at South Florida (he was with Strong at Texas last year), and Tulsa had a down year this year, but has been a really good offense in the recent past under Philip Montgomery (HC).GrundleStiltzkin said:

Lubick will remain co OC/WR coach at the very least. If Helfrich wants to get back into coaching, u gotta think Petersen and Chip are battling it out for his services. Bringing Helfrich on as a co OC/QB coach is a no brainer. If no Helfrich, I'd guess Lubick gets promoted to full time OC/WR and we hire a QB coach no one is talking about.

I like Bush a lot, I think Helfrich would do very well as a coordinator again, and I wouldn’t have a problem with hiring either of them. That being said, I hope Pete shoots for the moon with this hire. Is there a better place in America if you’re an assistant coach right now? The old shitty OC just landed his “dream job” head coaching position. Learn under one of the best in the business and inherit an offense about to be loaded with weapons.
I don’t pretend to know who the guy may be, but I hope Pete at least takes a look outside of his circle. -
