Is Petersen a top 3 college football coach?

NoI know a coach who went to the Natty in year two and is 2-1 against Chris Petersen. You guys should hire him, I hear he's looking for a new gig

YesHe was lucky with getting Luck and Hogan while coaching under Harbaugh (though he probably helped recruit them). He has often struck me as a guy who is a better recruiter than coach.
2017 will be a good year to judge him without a Luck / Hogan (and McCaffrey too).RoadDawg55 said:
Same with Stoops. 3 title appeances, one win. Consistently pumps out 10+ win seasons. Made the playoff the year before UW did. He's not even mentioned by most.YellowSnow said:One of my favorite reoccurring themes here is that an active coach with 3 Pac titles in 6 seasons, 2 Rose Bowl Wins, and 4 Top 10 finishes gets no love from HH. That there is some funny chit.

He's not (yet) a top three coach IMO, but I agree, he's probably the best fit for UW, and he's a damned good football coach to boot.RoadDawg55 said:I voted no because there is an unwritten rule about rankings players or coaches without championships above one that has.
Other than Saban, I'm not sure there is another coach I would trade for, especially at UW.
Meyer has had a better career, but he burned out at Florida and could again at Ohio State.
Harbaugh is too psycho.
Dabo is good but I question if that good ol boy bullshit works as well in Seattle.
Same for Fisher.
Not sure who else can legitimately be in the conversation.
Can't speak for anyone else, but this is the first time since Don James was head coach that I haven't been apprehensive about the guy leading the program. -
No

Scorebored > Blount Punch
Beautiful form turning over the wrist and putting it right on the money. -

Blount is wearing a helmet while sucker punching a guy who has his helmet off. Blount is a total douchebag. -
