To bad Jake didn't look the other way as Gaskin was uncovered in the left flat.

But that play essentially made it game over being down two scores to Bama and that D.

You have to go into half down 10-7 at all costs, If ever there was a time for three runs and half or punting with 25 seconds left assuming Bama uses their two timeouts it was then.

Actually the slant was open, UW didn't run enough slants to Daniels ( why the fuck did we abondon this play this year) and sluggo routes to Ross. One fucking month to prepare and this is the best game plan Smith can come up with?
No one throws a slant route like Troy Williams, right @89ute ??!

We looked like we belonged out there size wise. It was noticeable live. Glad I went.

    We're a lot closer than I thought.

Petersen is recruiting and developing. The last 15 years we're losing this game by 50 or 60 points and look like midgets.

Not the case anymore. Getting there this year is huge. The players can feel what it takes for the next step

Holy shit I agree with Race. Not to mention, on this play the linebacker came through untouched. No one muscled their way to Jake. When the linebacker blitzes like that, Jake needs to look at the slant in the hole.

Some pretty impressive blocking there by McGary.

Staff did a nice job with prep ... Bamer just has been able to gather too many advantages ( NCAA is blind when it comes to that program )
OC is bad but oline was overmatched and Browning not mobile enough
Take away pick 6 and 3rd down run for 1st down out of end zone ... and it's 10-7 or so game late
    Clemson will beat Bamer

    Size is NOT the problem.

Outside of RG, C and LB depth(after Victor and Mathis got hurt) our size is fine.

Weight wise size is fine but they look fat and out of shape compared to Bama.

Did you watch the game? Our RG is 6"1 and weighs about 260 pounds. How is that size and weigh fine by your standards?

2008 was a good year outside of Owen and Twelve. Watch the fucking video again and see what happened to our RG

That play is a missed assignment. The protection call was wrong or someone simply didn't pick up the blitzing linebacker.

The overall point is valid, but that play has nothing to do with size.

Our RG has cleat marks on his helmet

#93 abuses Harris but the guy with the pressure is a LB that comes untouched. 100% assignment error. Alabama's alignment tricked McGary into blocking nobody once his man didn't come.

Yeah I was actually at the game. I was trying to be nice. Bama just has more usable weight. They have best strength and conditioning coach in the country.
